did you not hear joan smalls say that she is friends with liu wen? the chinese girls have a lot of black and white friends; perhaps they forgot to acknowledge it, but you can't assume that they don't have white/black friends as the interviewer seems to have asked them their 2 or so closest friends. perhaps the chinese models aren't as close to black or white models, and yes, perhaps due to the language barrier, but you can not assume that they are racist because of that.

Agree!!! i mean i have couple of Chinese friends, maybe they're just a little bit shy at the first time we met, but they are really nice to get along with, and they're definitely not racist. i think Liu Wen and Shu Pei are just shy, or just their English is not that well.

We say that the Chinese models stick together, but, we may fail to see if maybe the Europeans models are not too welcoming of them? We can not judge or say anything as we are far from knowing what the real deal is unless we are insiders of the industry.

Nah Chinese models aren't racist, they're just a little bit shy and not accustomed to those culture which central to Western. And English, of course, they're not so good at making friends.
