Here is our last video for 2023,Showing the progress of our indoor and outdoor 00 gauge model railway,In this bumper edition video which is just over 36 minutes long,It features new rolling stock and loco's and of course the outside section which now is a full loop the actual layout is a P shape in terms of its design,For 2024 we will have this layout to maintain and regular running days updates,2024 also will see another exciting 00 gauge model railway being built,but more about that next month,until then have a great Christmas and a happy new year !

Thanks thats only 10 % of the stock we actually have,2024 will be more running sessions with the rest of the stock and another new 22 x 15 ft layout 🙂

The 66 in traditional (!) big arrow blue looks lovely. I saw a Mersey Rail multiple unit in blue the other day and it looked nice too. Shows what a good a livery it was.

Yep 66789 is my favorite livery on a 66 i think,i've got a few loco's including a 37 and 56 in this livery 🙂

Best bit is seeing them go round the garden, when i finish my garden railway it will be nice go ge lt the full length stock out

Yeah i fully agree,That was one of the main reasons for building it to allow full length trains to run

Thanks its coming on pretty well now,gone a bit quiet now because of winter but next year when weather is better will be up and running again 🙂

Doing a full rewire at the moment to separate the whole layout into 8 sections to make fault finding not such a hard task and taking delivery for free another layout that is 22 ft x 15 ft wide that needs a home and finishing,that will be the 2024 project 🙂 @@banksroadmodernimage7358

Very nice layout. I've not seen an HO/OO outdoor layout previously, and I thought the problem was that the track will not stand up to the elements, esp UV. How have you managed to keep it from being damaged?

Thanks,Yeah there isnt very many outdoor oo gauge layouts this big,The track is peco flexible track concrete sleeper SL-102 track,it stands outside all year without any issue,Nickel silver rail tarnishes so needs cleaning everytime its used,But otherwise its absolutely fine 🙂
