As a 16 year old girl the first model made me smile, it felt nice seeing someone with a similar body type to mine on the runway for once, it made me feel like I do deserve to feel pretty after all.
Not gonna lie, all but the last one felt cheapened when Kylie wore them to me. The last gown worked so well with her shape and the hip/sternum veil pieces
Well, thing is, Models aren't allowed to do whatever they want at the stage. They are not allowed to do poses, smile at random people and make eyr contact with them. Kylie isnt bound to that, so a person's aesthetic is also important. That said she does slay in the dresses.
They should really stop with those plus size models. Glorifying obesity is bad. As much as it is to glorify anorexia. That’s why they stopped showing anorexic women. They just committed the same mistake again.
@@lennnaa yeah skinny. Not anorexic anymore. Even if they are very close to that stage. But they have certain norms and rules to follow. But i agree with you with the fact that exposing models with eating disorders is wrong. But obesity is an eating disorder too. So… I have a family member who deals with anorexia. She is so skinny that it has become frightening. And i don’t wish it to anyone. But i had a girl i knew in college who died due to a heart attack last year due to her morbid obesity. She was just 21. So no. Glorifying obesity is not the right thing to do. It is dangerous for people’s health. It is like glorifying alcoholism. Those are mental disorders that impacts physical health and you can cure those disorders and get in better shape. It is hard, some people will need help. And others will just need to realise how low they went to start working on themselves to succeed. And by glorifying obesity or anorexia, you are helping them get deeper into their disorders. It is dangerous and concerning.
Thank you dude as an obese person myself glorifying obesity is so wrong in so many ways. The idea of over weight models is disgusting due to the fact that it just means any one can become a model now days without working hard for it which is very sad
