I'm using Blender 3.2. At 1:43 when you gripped the vertex on the lattice, the mesh curved while you were positioning it. When I try and replicate that action, I can't get my mesh to curve like yours is; it just moves straight down. Is there a feature I'm missing or a checkbox I need to click?
I had proportional editing turned on to do that. It allows you to use your mouse wheel to adjust the influence that the movement has on neighboring vertices. So if you select just one vertex and move it, the other vertices that are close to it will also move slightly (or a lot depending on your mouse wheel). Hope that helps! 😁
@@GraceNoteForge I appreciate the proportional editing tip, however the problem is still persisting no matter the size of the circle. Are there additional settings to the proportional editing that you have turned on? Or maybe a preference that has been enabled?
@@GraceNoteForge Never mind, I found out what I did (or rather didn't do); right before you started editing your lattice, you tweaked your cube in Sculpt mode. I didn't see any visual changes so I didn't do anything to my cube. That's where the bend is coming from. Thank you for your help, and I'm sorry if I frustrated you any.
