In electrical engineering it is often interesting to communicate or transfer energy from one point to another, doing so requires an interconnection of electrical devices, such an interconnection is known as an electrical circuit.
The electrical circuit is made up of elements that may be supplying electrical energy due to the action of active elements such as sources, causing a response in the circuit that are the voltages and currents that appear in the network but in an electrical circuit in addition to the Elements that supply electrical energy are also made up of elements that may be dissipating or storing electrical energy. This type of component is called passive and constitutes the receivers or loads of a network. The term passive means that the elements do not contain generators and consequently no voltage and current can appear at their terminals if no external power source is applied.
In this video we will study how these components are modeled mathematically and graphically.
