Hello CEE, I hope that the conference is as stimulating and informative as your tutorial video. Thank you so much for making the time to create such a marvelous introduction tutorial even under the said circumstances. Your unwavering dedication is highly regarded. To be honest, I could not fault the quality of this video, maybe it is because I was caught up all the way through the video allowing myself to be amazed and to absorb my newly found silos terminologies and loading overview which CEE have just open up, it was captivating. Your animations rock 🥰 I find the CEE clear categorization of the loading conditions to be very important for understanding purposes. With so many equations, it could be very easy to get lost deep in the details and forget about the bigger picture. I trust that even on future loading video, CEE will continue to provide clear categorization for the various loading conditions [and separately group the associated equations for each of those loading conditions] that may be applicable to the silos loading. My take-away in today's video (amongst other many nice 😊 things) was the Two (2) loading conditions being 1. “Initial or filling condition” and 2. “Materials emptying condition” and that “2” is further sub-divided into 2a. “funnel flow case” and 2b. “mass flow case”. This is the example of the loading conditions categorizations that I speak of. Thank you again and have a wonderful day and enjoy the conference, Regards.
Hi Engr. Donald. Thanks a lot for your comment, it encourages me to push further. Well, I am happy that my circumstances sill produced an at least "acceptable" video. Was actually trying to record in the airport, but opted for the lobby of the hotel instead ^_^ My research is going to be about design optimization of structures. I would not have missed your presentation at the conference [even for a FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 match 😁🤣😂] if the conference was within my reach. I do not know if there are restrictions or if there are other considerations that may prohibit you from sharing your research paper. In case there are no restrictions; I’d like to ask that if it is at all possible, kindly consider sharing a link of your design optimization of structures presentation from the conference (after the conference). I am curious of what you have proposed or have found on the subject matter and I trust that your paper will be an invaluable addition and reference document.
