Excellent advice and great results. The likes of Hobbycraft (and I'm sure others too) stock packets of florists wire in packs of bare silver wire about 7" long and green plastic coated about 10" long which has the advantage of already being straight. It does, obviously, require painting. Cheers
My ancient Cole’s crane is much too big a model for my 00 gauge Dad’s Army layout, but it has a place on the Hoddesdon Model and Railway Club G-Scale layout.
