thank you for this! it's so difficult to find anything on interpreting process output so this was extremely helpful

This video is so helpful! Thank you so much:) Can I add one more focal varible in independent variable, which then includes two precdictors in the model and anlyze main effects of each variable and interactiom effect with moderator as well?

Thank you for your great effort. Does grand.c represent another independent variable or represent a control variable? Is it allowed to apply several independents variables in the Hayes Process macro?

Hi Hosam, the grant.c is included as a covariate in the model. It had already been mean centered too (hence the .c). Cheers!

Is it possible to test multiple variables as predictors (not covariates) in one model? I'd like to test whether a group membership (ADHD or non-ADHD) moderates the effects of multiple predictors on a measure of behavior outcome to see whether the patterns differ between ADHD and non-ADHD individuals. I'm trying to keep multiple predictors in one model because they are subdomains of a certain cognitive function and I'm interested in obtaining the partial effect of each subdomain.

This is great! Thank you! Is it necessary that covariates be centered in a moderation analysis using PROCESS? Most of the covariates I am working with are dummy coded, so it seems like centering doesn't make sense.

Hi there. Thanks for your question. In general, it's not a requirement that you center anything in your model. However, centering does afford certain advantages when you are working with continuous predictors in moderated regression (see my video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JZ2fl8exNTE.html). But usually when I am working with dummy variables I prefer not to center those as it seems to make interpretation cleaner. By the way, I have another video on using the multicategorical option in Process that you may find useful at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IG-FnhvTud4.html Best wishes!

Thank you for the video Dr.Mike. Can you do a video on Model number 58 in SPSS macro. And touch on Hierarchical regression in Process Macro.

Hi Mike, I am having problems with the output since it doesn't show me the conditional effects although I took all the settings you suggested. Do you have an idea what the problem might be? Thanks for your help!

have you done a mediation video for PROCESS v3.5?

Hi George. I have a mediation video from Process (but not sure the version; it was done in 2019): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vFGSa0KfDYA.html Much of everything should be exactly the same in terms of the how to's in performing mediation in different versions. I hope this is helpful! Cheers!
