jim in a rare bit of earnestness on your channel comments I want to say I have actually appreciated seeing a very casual perspective on traveling through China! So often made the boogeyman in global discussions here in the states but it's good to remember that a lot of life there is much more similar to us than we consider often enough. This is insane.
I’ve heard Jim’s voice talk about Pokemon stats and strats so much that I kept imagining he would start predicting the next “move” of everything in this video. Hehe.
Gen3 sensei, the occasional chess lingo, soft and well spoken and a heart for dogs.. Jimothy must be the incarnated algorithm coming to make me stop lurking on RU-vid after 15 years.
Putting a cactus in a bathroom is a terrible idea. It is going to terrorise the peaceful toiletgoers with its meta-breaking and frustrating Sand Veil ability. If a sandstorm ever occurs in this bathroom we will never find it
Just curious, do you know any Mandarin Chinese? And if not, how did that affect your travels? From personal experience, Japan is quite challenging to navigate without any familiarity with the language and South Korea is relatively accommodating. Very unlucky since my Korean is passable but my Japanese is nonexistent lmao. I've only spent one day in China though so I wasn't able to get a feel for it. Thanks for sharing your epic travels once again.
How would you describe the corn juices texture? Was it pulpy like creamed corn, or was is more like a water texture. I could totally get behind drinking creamed corn from an iron mugulus at work and tell them it's juice.
