White oak coat rack with custom ebonized hooks. Some of the techniques used in this project are; dado joint for the shelf, french cleat for the support, ebonize process using black tea and steel wool and vinegar. The screws were blackened with a blueing process using super blue.

Haha yes Bruce, I designed them in sketchup based on how I want them to look. That was the angle it gave me.. Believe me I thought that was silly too, thats why I just dialed in my table saw until it looked right
