I like the F bomb rating.. lol And... This is my project this weekend. Oh.. And the F bombs in my case come from the windows jambs needing to be ripped funny because the window contractor was terrible.. top left corner is 2.5", bottom left is 2.75", etc.. Can't make a straight rip.. Yes, there are plenty of F bombs about that.

@Mr Pro Yes you can do different styles of trim on the exterior as well if you'd like.

I assume that you’d have to re-trim the window if you were to ever replace it since it’s nailed in? In my old-ass home, the trim is screwed in so my window guy could just take it out and put it back. I’d love to ditch all this old trim and do it the same way you did but wondered about having to replace a window down the road. Then again at that point, I may be too old and senile to care.😄

Depends. If you're using a replacement window, you may just need to pull out the inner side stops. In any case, replacing a window is a bigger (and more expensive) job than doing trim. It's an easy adjustment if you need to but a window should last a good long time.

How much hangover can you put in the stool? One double window that we’re replacing will get used for some small plants. Any alternative material that you might recommend?

Are there styles where the stool is flush with the apron (doesn’t protrude over) and flush with side jams so the casing can go all around like a picture frame and add style to top of casing..

I'm in florida and have drywall returns with orange peel plaster, would you recommend ripping that out and replacing with wood before trimming the window?
