Thanks to this extensive & meticulously detailed script writing stemming from Gondwana to the current era, I've gained new & upgraded insight into the genesis & living beings in NZ. Breathtakingly as well as visually so captivating, enthralling, resplendent, & tantalizingly sublime that I can't help feeling in deference to all the people who had engaged in the production of this rare & ineffably singular nat. doc.. Nonetheless, I'd like to take this opportunity to render it my highest kudos on this script writer who is brilliant & perspicacious. The only thing I know about this country is that the Brazil football team beat New Zealand 4-0 in the 1982 World Cup. I remember the Brazilian press saying that New Zealand players looked like zombies. The country looks beautiful, but it has a very cold climate.

Strangely I disagree with the comment below as I found the commentary too slow and pedestrian, and gave up after 10 minutes. Surely we all already know about the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs and does anyone really dispute it? Also we know that algae are primitive life forms. I thought this was more like a coffee table book than something really informative. The filming is fine, however.
