I don't care about any of the negative comments. I'm 53, and still skateboard to this song. These guys are amazing and keep me alive. Don't stop! You give me life and freedom. Thank you for decades of emotional music that can't be replicated 🙏 🙌
Nailed it! I’ve must of listened to this song over 1000 times. This group’s music helped me trough some tuff times as a teen. The vocals and guitar in this version is wicked. Love it! Rock on!
Saw them at Totally Tubular concert recently and they were sooooo good. Really appreciate the effort they put in. Loved them back in the day and still do it turns out. #respect
It's sooooo good. Impressed with how much I like this new version as a fan of the original version. Still have the original CD and vinyl record! They are touring now. I'm going to see them next week!
30 some odd years later still sound as good now as they did in the 80s. Same band members and more great hits. I seriously need to go see a concert. I think I was about 13 when this came out.
For me sounds just like new, as when you hear for the first time and in one instant you love the song, maybe because i heat this band from 1984, 56 and still in the new wave, saludos desde Mexico.
At this point, it is safe to say Modern English is the only band I am willing to brave a crowd to see live. I've loved them since 1982 and hope I get the chance to fulfill that dream someday. Hopefully when After the Snow tour resumes.
I hope i see Modern English live again in the Netherlands and Belgium. That song was the favorite on the dancefloor in the eightees in the Netherlands. "Take me to the Trees" is also a fantastic album.
One of my favorite tracks off the After the Snow Album. One of my first concerts ever I was lucky enough to see them in 1986 in St. Louis. Great show. So glad to see you guys still playing. :)
