I'm with you, Jacqui H, but to me, this is mildly eclectic. I've far more eclectic tastes in design and décor than this. I'm all about combining colors, textures, patterns, and elements. But this house is gorgeous!
I love the layout for the most part. I'd try to add a laundry room upstairs somewhere. And whoever did the staging for this house...KUDOS on everything except putting a nursery adjacent to the billiard table and media room where there will be A LOT of noise, and not soothing noise!! Also, there's no way that my baby or toddler would be that far from the master bedroom, and especially up a flight of stairs! That's not conducive for middle of the night feedings and diaper changes for an infant, or nightmares, or anything similar in the middle of the night for a toddler! That is the main faux pas in the staging. I love the extra touches in the house, i.e. that gorgeous wall above/around the fireplace in the family room, and that same material used in the upstairs bedroom/ensuite bathroom on the wall above the vanity/sink. That mirror in that bathroom is so cool - fantastic! The dining room walls are stunning as well. They lend an air of warmth and class to the space. That kitchen is a dream with darker cabinets, light countertops, and stainless appliances. Those TALL windows in the family room are quite breathtaking. I'd have the remote control room darkening/privacy technology built into all the windows. The bed linens in each bedroom are simply lovely! Great choices! There's just so much to like about this house, but I feel like I've hit the major points. I'm wowed and impressed!
All of the homes are I the Houston area. I don’t mention price because I’m not trying to sell the home and home prices can fluctuate too much.
