Magic the Gathering will always have a place in my heart, but I also love exploring new TCGs. I started playing games in college after years of failing at sports and have been addicted ever since.
Pokemon started the craze and addiction - moving me away from baseball cards and into the world of constant organization.

I will just wait to buy it at bulk pricing. That has served me well for IKO, CLB, and even LCI now. :)

@@KitchenTableTCG Then doesn't it make a lot more sense for players to buy their singles as people on TCG Player are selling cards into that race to the bottom?

@@kazekage_gaara_-8027 For undervalued new issue cards (not reprint) this is completely true. A lot of sleepers start off on the tier 2 or 3 list and then rocket off to evaporate the supply on a single print. For reprints it's a bit different, depending on circulating supply you either get the bottom on the 1st few weeks if it's a short printed high demand mythic, or you get the long slow bleed out if it's niche or has limited playability.

I agree that this set is going to do well. I am not sure it will beat LOTR but will probably be the highest selling magic set ever.

They really went hard into commander on this one. Fetch lands aside I've only really seen maybe three or four modern playable cards spoiled or leaked so far.

The entire Flare cycle is playable in Modern. That's five cards alone. 😂

The prices of collector boxes are just getting out of hand. I can't do it anymore. I'll search for old stuff and bargains.

I am stoked about MH3 - the eldrazi and goyf themes have me amped. The power level, the art on the frame breaks, reprints on Esper and Ragavan, textured special guest elementals and a chance at a serialized concept Eldrazi! All of it is just awesome... i said I wasn't golng to drop $3k on a case of collectors... well... oops... that was 2 cases ago... I traded in a chunk of my collection for this release.

I think MH3 will have reprints along with some new cards that will be played in Magic the Gathering decks. Just my opinion nothing has been confirmed by my sources

I would like to see Magic The Gathering Cards as well. Looking forward to putting them in my Magic The Gathering Decks and maybe even running them at a Hasbro approved competitive event!

I’m rushing for this set my man, no matter what anyone is saying. This entire set is gonna hold A TON of value. Just gonna invest in the commander precons honestly, but those decks are gonna resell for double or maybe even triple. Especially the collectors edition’s

I'd gladly buy MH3 singles IF I had anywhere near me to actually play Modern tourneys on a regular basis.

Not buying any MH3. Star Wars will probably be the focus until Assassin’s Creed and Bloomburrow depending on what the cards are like and probably singles at best. I usually pick up at least 2 cases of each release. One to sit on sealed and the other to open but with wotc basically robbing us they won’t be receiving those orders anytime soon.

I’ve heard mh3 is seeing a lot of order cancellations which is great! Personally mh3 is another wotc cash grab. In response I’m not even going to buy singles and moving straight to proxy for this set until it bombs.
