Agree and agree! There is a lot of fun stuff in MH3. I have had a ton of fun opening the boxes as well!

The reprint selection is pretty solid and I agree there are a ton of impactful cards at uncommon!

You raise a lot of interesting and valid points… as much as I absolutely love opening this set I also have some concerns about limited. My buddy made top 8 at SCG Con this past weekend in the main sealed event playing temur Eldazi. I went 2-0-1 in a single elimination draft splitting first with my buddy and i was on Simic Eldrazi. So the sample size is small but with uncommons like Kozilek’s Unsealing, Path of annihilation, and the 2 drop Eldrazi that can kick to exile an artifact or enchantment and/or bounce a creature…. There are some super busted uncommons. Once you stabilize and you have a couple big colorless creatures sitting around you throw the bestow green enchantment that gives it counters, reach, and trample and you’re in business. So I need a bigger sample size but boy did that feel like the archetype to beat.

I am super pumped to have pulled those cards! Apparently Ral is a pretty strong card so good luck on your quest!

Agree. I can live with 2 fetches against all of those Mythics. Particularly when two of them were exactly what I was hoping to pull!

Oooohhhh I think these fetches will crash pretty hard. Keep in mind the enemy fetches like Tarn and Misty were like $70 and $55 respectively at time of reprint. Whereas I think Polluted Delta as the most expensive ally fetch was maybe $40 prior to this reprint? Keep in mind MH3 just came out and it’s going to opened for the next 2+ years. I think windswept, strand, and wooded are all going to sink mightily.

@@WildcatMTG can't wait to see what happens - the sets are very different - different price points might keep some away from cracking like crazy and I'm seeing many play boxes with 0-2 fetches - way more than MH2. Also I feel like MH2 had more room to breathe without two sets stacked right behind it within a month and a half.

Yeah our store didn’t want to do all that… plus there is generally a lot of casual people who just want to play for a bit and then go home. So the store I played at does 3 rounds. You get a pack per match win. If you 3-0 there are bonus packs. Also there were extra packs if you accomplished certain “bounties” during games. So it was chill.

@@WildcatMTG I live in Israel so everything is more expensive and more competitive with a smaller variety but I'm happy that the cheapest store is the closest to me

Breya, Kaalia, and Urza’s Incubator are the inclusions that stick out as odd to me…

@WildcatMTG I think Incubator is for the U/G Eldrazi archetype, I got one at one release and played it in the event
