We love how this play kitchen turned out!! Eva has been playing with it every day since Christmas and it looks so cute in our living room!

This channel is about our daily life raising our 2 boys and our daughter who has Down Syndrome.
When we first found out about Eva's diagnosis we couldn't find many RU-vid channels from families in the same situation, which is why we decided to start this channel.
We are just a simple, average family sharing the joys (and sometimes the challenges) that raising a child with Down Syndrome have brought to our life!

As always another great video and Wow I love how you crafted the play kitchen the way you wanted it you had really neat ideas and such a talent for it. I love crafting I do little home crafts all the time I really like the farmhouse look and using chalk pain it's a great stress reliever. I bet Eva will love it for years to come. Great job mom😊

I will be working on more videos very soon!! I charged my camera batteries yesterday and plan to finally make an appearance again! Is there anything specific you would like to see? I just wish I could hug you and sit and cry with you. Hi there! So the lights I actually purchased from the dollar store! They usually have them next to the extension cords and flash lights...but I'm sure you can find them online too! :)

I was overwhelmed by this project until I found your tutorial - thank you!! Did you only need 1 coat of paint for both the wood and plastic?

Hi there! Aww I'm so happy it helped you feel less overwhelmed! I know it is a big project...but just do one step at a time and take your time. 😊 So for the wood pieces I just did one thick layer...but for the plastic pieces I needed to do two coats because I found it would cause a lot of drips on the sink etc. So I'd make sure my paint can was far enough away and did 2 light coats. Keep in touch I would love to know how your project turns out! 🥰

Hi so I’m planning on doing this and wanted to know what size the board for the backsplash is? I can’t fully assemble until Christmas and don’t want to assemble it and then have to hide it fully assembled lol you’d really be helping a girl out!

For the dry of the painting, how long does it take?

Hi! I gave it maybe 2 hours to dry before applying the second coat. Then I let it dry overnight before assembling the kitchen back together. :)

Hi! The sink has held up pretty well! There are some scratches in it from my children playing intensely with it lol. But I just gave it another fresh coat of spray paint after some years and it looked new again:)

How did the paint hold up without sanding the pieces before you sprayed it on? Just wondering long term use wise

Hi there!! The paint on the wood held up perfectly! Not even one chip yet and my kids play with it everyday! The only part that got a little wrecked was the stovetop...my kids had a wire basket on top and with moving it around it scratched the paint around that...but all of the wood is in perfect condition it worked great! :)

This Extra Gift thank you so much, for some reason our spray paint is sticky to the touch after 32 hours and won’t dry. We have to sand it down and paint it with a roller. Still have time but I watched this video 2 times for inspiration ☺️
