Insert Amazon boxes to raise the plant to appropriate level, fill empty space on sides with newspaper/catalog mailers and then add the moss as top layer. Done in less than 5 mins.

I tried that at first, but because the plant is inserted in a concrete bucket, it caused the boxes to sink. It needed more structure.

WOW - I had no idea my love for having bits of nature inspired decor (lots of natural light, green plants, feeling air flow by way of a ceiling fan, etc...) here and there througout my home had been deemed a true pschological affect and I espcially didn't know that it had been given a name. I wouldn't consider myself a true "tree hugger" at all, although I do love being outside more than being indoors and I've been known to say the tree's are talking to us (lol); I just referred to it has having a love for nature and wanting/needing an indoor-outdoor living space . Thank you for educating us!
