Award-winning director, producer, and writer Elias Kazan (“America America”, “The Death of a Salesman", “A Streetcar Named Desire”, “East of Eden” and others), was a co-founder of the Actors Studio (“Method Acting”). Kazan directed films dealing with social issues or issues that mattered to him and worked with famous actors (Marlon Brando, James Dean, and others) and highly regarded screenwriters (like Tennessee Williams). The New York Times described Kazan as “one of the most honored and influential directors in Broadway and Hollywood history”.
