Tudor actually was producing new tudor prince dates and tudor prince date days in Asia until as recently as 2021. I had one but sold it but it was a great watch. Issue was the bracelet was also very vintage and felt flimsier but overall the watch had excellent build quality and accuracy. The gold links in the Prince line are/were solid gold, but hollow. So you won't have issues with polish but it may not have the heft of the gold capped links. Will be in the market for a BB36 steel and gold probably a year from now, love the two tone look but I think the bracelet will be much better in the new one.
100%, i bought my prince date day new in 2021 and agree with your thoughts on the bracelet and clasp. Even with the links being hollow and least they are all gold, same with the bezel and crown. I dont think I could purchase a newer two tone Tudor knowing everything is capped except for the endlinks.
I'm on the hunt to buy a prince date day, but obviously I can't see one in person before I buy. How is the polishing and finishing on these vs other modern Tudors? I have a tudor 1926 and it's very well done for the price....
I feel the same about the prince. My wife has no idea I’m about to blow 5 grand or so on A watch, I feel no remorse. I might be single soon tho 🤣. I bought A bunch of gold like A jackass N now she’s like your done 😂. But golds gonna go up one day babe that was my story somebody help with A story for the watch 😂.
I love Tudor, but they were fools to discontinue the prince datejusts and daydates in favor of these dressy black bays with capped gold. Vintage for me. I may buy a datejust or daydate from Tudor that were manufactured between 2015 to 2021.
