Lisa let me help you with your "iceberg machine". The reason it is icing up like that is because the door seal is no longer effective and is not sealing air from getting inside. You can replace the door seal and it will not ice up so quickly. As usual, another lovely glimpse of life in Russia!

I like how you don’t care about what all those business people think about you on the way back from the gym. Those plastic panels that you didn’t use on the balcony would look good as a backsplash on the wall of your kitchen. Behind your stove and bench top.

The fan - I'd throw it away. Without the third blade it probably won't be very well balanced, I'd imagine it might rip itself apart pretty spectacularly.

Lisa it looks like your freezer door might have a little leak staying open and that might cause the iceberg to develop. You may also want to get a foam paint roller to get a nice even smooth layer of paint. Great 👍🏼 job Lisa !😀

Should move the fridge away from the window. The seal might not be that good around the door and the difference in temp from the outside or humid air is coming into contact with the freezers element. But if you move the fridge inside (maybe swapping places with the stove) it won't eliminate but reduce the ice build up because the fridge won't be subject to swings in temp or be in contact with warm humid air. You might want to inquire about a seal for that refrigerator door and make sure your settings aren't set to max. Love the patio and the new updates you've done. You really done a good job on your apartment.❤

I have been to Russia many times and I got to say your apartment looks great looks good you've done a real good job with it, I live in Texas and USA but we have apartment in St Petersburg Russia, We stay any probably one time a year rest time is just sitting vacant I think the apartment is about 8 years old now, I wished USA was as nice as Russia beautiful cities and beautiful people

I like your house, people where I live in the US are so competitive and lazy. I'm like you in that I find value in things that last and restoring what I already have. Americans may seem "rich" on TV but its all fake and most Americans are in extreme debt and will always be in debt. I Love Your Apartment and all of your older appliances too! If they work, use them! I teach my kids to live practical and make due with what they have to save lots of money, so if they do need to buy a new one later, they will have the money to do so! Good Job Lisa! 😘❤️👍

Lisa, your fridge is icing up because the door seals are not sealing properly. Visually check that the magnetic door seal on the main door is making contact with the fridge cabinet all the way around. Usually, it's at the bottom that the seal fails and lets moisture laden air in which turns to ice. Often, some pressure with the foot against the door upon closing will enable the airtight seal. If attended to this will lower your electricity bill.

When my freezer did that I used a electric hair dryer to help defrost it faster

You can fix that yellowish microwave door and make it look like new with hydrogen peroxide cream for bleaching hair. Buy the cream stuff, not liquid, and use a brush to "paint" it. Cover with plastic foil and leave in sunlight for at few hours and clean off. There are tons of videos about this method on RU-vid.

My big American Sears deep freezer in the garage gets so much ice build up inside I use a hammer and chisel to break the ice off I use it for my inflatable pool to cool it off especially in the summer

What adhesive were you using for the white tile, that did not adhere? Next what is the tile made from? And last what paint did you use to paint the wood where the tile was going to go? If you really would like the tile to be installed, it might be a simple matter of modifying your application technique.

Wow, that fridge looks like it is from the 70s or 80s! But if it still works, who cares? Who needs a new energy saver fridge with electricity being so cheap in Russia? When you take something old and you make it like new again, it gives you such a boost in pride.
