Modern samurai, sage dynamics, warrior poet. Top 3 classes I would like to take, sadly I can’t afford ammo, let alone a class… dry fire and RU-vid for me. Thanks for the content!
Just have to say thanks for these videos with Jedi, really appreciate the content and practice plus hard work pays off. Blessings to you and your loved ones!
I agree completely with Jed on the "slow is smooth, smooth is fast" bushwa. As a USPSA competitor, slow is just slow. Yes, the really fast guys may LOOK slow, but that is because of economy of motion. They are actually moving fast, but they aren't making any unnecessary motions, which makes it look slower than it is.
Great series. Unfortunately he is booked up solid anywhere near me till end of 2022. Hope to jump on a 2023 class if he is within a reasonable driving distance.
I see Scott August 20th and 21st. training with one of his instructors tomorrow, this is a fun journey. I want the black belt patch. thank you for the info helping me prepare for the test.👍
These have been awesome!! I follow them too but seeing it from your perspective has been rather useful, thanks man!! I’d definitely like to hear his views on “tools”.
Hey, bro. Someone just tried to sell me a fake RMR a few days ago. The thing looked spectacular. Had I not owned other RMRs I might have fallen for it and not known until I got to the desert and my glass went flying on the first shot. With the hype the dry market has created around the Acro P2, there's going to be thousands of people handling it for the first time ever when they buy theirs... which could be a problem... because I just saw the knock off version and it looks identical. It would be a HUGE public service if you got your hands on one of the fakes and did a side by side comparison and informed us on what to look for. Fakes are going to be saturating the market soon. Another great vid@ 90/13. Demand that hat 😂
Good series. Good highlights and breakdowns. I am starting to feel like a Jedi OG as it was early 2018 when I took the class. Probably time to go again. Love your stated goal at the end of the video, very cool. Have you done a Chuck Pressburg No Fail class? I haven't but would like to.
Just recently found your channel brother and I didn't instantly subscribe cause in the past I did and then realized I didn't like said channel so I made ya earn it lol I watched 4-5 videos the subscribed and I'm so glad I did because your shit is truly fantastic !!! Keep it up. Thanks
What I'd like to see is how to conserve the ability of very accurate shooting while getting used to dynamic shooting competitions. Someone who takes part in bullseye shooting but also ipsc. As well handgun shooting 50 & 100 yards.
If you you don't like shot timers it's because you suck and you don't like being told you suck. Shot timers are key to figuring out where you can get better...those who are willing to settle should do it quietly in the corner and leave those of us who want to improve to do just that.
@@jimmybrodriguezhello . I have one question, when you grip the pistol with the support hand index finger up and slightly back with the little finger presure and with the palm up and back towards the hammer of the pistol and with the right hand push into the beavertail?
Slow is smooth smooth is fast comes from car racing. If you come into a corner too fast you will be fighting the car trying to stay on track which will slow you down.
I took his course 2 years ago so things may have changed but the first day was about appendix carry mechanics, then day two and three were about shooting red dots. Appendix carry is one of Jedi’s specialties but he also teaches a lot of law enforcement who obviously run duty belts. I’d say a quality AIWB holster is a must but you can bring both and switch guns or rigs in between blocks of instruction, as long as it’s in line with what he’s teaching that day. Respect.
@@jimmybrodriguez I just finished the debrief. I agree the time to pickup is in the draw especially if you are already shooting .2 splits. Great content and knowledge transfer. Thanks!
The 80/20 is the draw as in: do 80% of the draw as fast as possible, then the last 20ish slightly slow down and drop the Red Dot into your view. It's to build a reliable draw with the Red Dot so people never have the issue finding the dot.
@@jimmybrodriguez I did and from he is describing as far as pressure and points where he wants you to do that. Is of the same overall push and pull. It is a little different, the main concept seems to be the same.
Going to be honest, I don't see a lot of value in this drill. " Bullseye " shooting is a nice test of fundamentals, but there aren't a lot of stationary targets in everyday living.
