I swear, they need to make a soundtrack with all the music without the voices

This style of music puts the soul at ease. No matter who's playing, they put on a show with just the sound each person, or group, produces. Let your ears carry your soul to another plane of existence and flow on the river of sound. The shamisen has truly become something special to listen to this season.

Shamisen music is really becoming my jam in the last 2 years...

I liked both performances this week, and I don't mind waiting one more for Setsu and the gang to play. I can already feel the goosebumps.

i dunno what it is but the moment at 0:21 gives me chills. almost brings a tear to my eyes and i don't even know why. the notes don't even feel sad or anything.

Found myself really looking forward to Maimai and Setsu playing together at some point. As well as the two actually having a proper conversation, would be good for both of them.

In the show they were talking about how it sounded "grating to the ears" or something, probably for just being non-traditional in style in my opinion. I actually prefer this to what most of the others were playing.

Unless im horribly mistaken Around 1:30 you can actually tell that her sound was overpowering everyone else's She was trying so hard to prove her worth that she completely missed out in being in the moment

I don’t understand why there has to be so many distracting dialogues and monologues during a performance. When I first heard that, the only thing I wanted to hear was only the shamisen playing. I could close my eyes and enjoy the music of it. But I can’t. People talking over the music, and monologues steering across the performance kept distracting me, and I could not hold the immersion. They should’ve done what kyoani did to their music works. Leave the music as playing music, and use commentary when the music has finished playing. It respects the music playing, and have people give their thoughts on it. Covering a performance with commentary on top is extreme dissatisfying and has been frustrating me non stop. Overall I gave the anime a 4 out of 10. If only they let the music playing by itself.
