So cute! Definitely way nicer than my dorm experience. I'd love to see your take on a dorm for occults. I'm thinking the mermaid has taken over the shared bathroom and has their stuff everywhere in there, the vampire has covered their windows and is feuding with the werewolf, the werewolf is NOT getting their damage deposit back, the alien is just trying to fit in but has a room that's a little odd...

Cool idea! The spellcaster could have a portal in their dorm room, like using an undetectable extension charm more or less.

In the alien room, they have bizarre and misused things. e.g. they saw human students bringing in fridges, so they got the doorless junk fridge from eco lifestyle, but are using it to store books and clothes instead of food.

i’d love to see the brightchester (sp?) dorms renovated!! i always see people remodeling these modern ones, which is great too, but it’d be fun to see that older majestic style!

Sims can actually study any of the degrees at both universities, just one university will offer a standard degree and the other will offer a distinguished degree in that subject 😊 so the plant student for example could be studying a distinguished biology degree at Foxbury Uni (but if they were studying biology at Britechester, it won’t be distinguished). Hope that makes sense! 🙏🏼 If you Google it, there’s some lists online which show what I mean 🙈 Love this build as usual btw 💚

It would be so fun if you did the same for the other dorm with the penthouse things and kept the exterior the same, just changed the interior to make it less fancy and more like a typical dorm (like add a million tinier rooms inside so it fits lots of sims, etc) so the sims there could just see this awesome dorm and be insanely jealous.

I think it’s just the showers that have no walls/curtains that don’t embarrass sims from Discover University & Snowy Escape

My first thought was this is the floor for the RA’s (resident advisors) of the building, since they are usually upperclassmen and could want nicer stuff and space to cook

Definitely agree with whoever commented, do the same exterior on the other building w/ cheap maybe tiny dorms to offset how fancy this is, it’d be hilarious and so fun in gameplay

It’s such an Americanised thing that they don’t have ovens and that they have shared room the UK could NEVER!! We’d never share rooms, sometimes bathrooms if it’s really cheap but never rooms. Most people have a shared kitchen but we’d never have no kitchen/oven that would be insane. Most UK students live in a house after 1st or 2nd year too

The Sims team, offset the inconvenience of no stoves or ovens with the fact that your student Sims will bring free food home constantly. The Buffet table was a great idea! 👍🏻

Nice build. I love the the general look. I've had the canteen in dorms before and it is a necessity for me with the no stoves rule. Would you be willing to do the britechester dorm as well? Perhaps with one student being a spellcaster?

It's beautiful, really. But why are this dorm is like just a house on top of the building? I would more prefer if this dorm would match with the exterior of the building
