That first hinted at Shepherd's true nature - a ruthless tyrant who'd stop at nothing to achieve his goals. Then Price managed to deduce Shepherd's motive in the transmission before Contingency. Shepherd mentioned being willing to always do what was necessary to win, yet he denied Price's request to go through with the mission that would eventually save the lives of hundreds of Army Rangers defending Washington D.C. The MW2 campaign was subtle and tense. This is what makes a true Call of Duty campaign.

I love the “pacing” of this mission! MW1-BO2 is what I’d call the “golden era” of CoD

I listen to price's pep talk every morning before going.

So this was basically MW2's equivalent of Dust to Dust. "Shepherd's not leaving here alive" "Get ready, this is for Ghost and Roach"

This briefing speech from Price is a testament to how much love and thought cod campaigns once got from their developers. This is a bone chilling monologue and probably top3 speeches in gaming history period. I could start crying looking at what they have done to my beloved franchise. After BO2 cod just took a nosedive for a decade straight. Lately with MW they made some progress back into the right direction but I fear that it will never reach this level again.

General Shepherd was going to send more Shadow Company soldiers to every country. Well the Shadow Company is going to regroup and a new leader is going to step up. And Task Force 141 they got the chance to stay active.

I still don't know how Soap and Price were just magically forgiven for this in MW3 after killing dozens of CIA Special Forces agents and a 4 star General with no real evidence to clear their name.

This mission is even more cool when you kill everyone, regardless of Price's orders

Price needs to be a motivational speaker

This is the game that made want to join the special operations team

Watching this reminded me of when I played it on veteran difficulty... tap aiming firing and grenades and the AT4 made short work of everyone

The new MW campaign is nearly as good as this one... and that’s some HIGH praise

Small detail but I think the voices cast for Shadow Company were perfect. There’s a sort of venom to them where even though much of the chatter is code and sitreps, you can tell they’re menacing and evil just from listening in.

At 9:33 when you put the c4 to make a breach you could use a machine gun to enter and kill the guy with the knife and then change to your second weapon a riot shield. All the enemies will be killed one by one without you having to do anything

For me Call of duty modern warfare 2 is the best COD ..the graphics ,epic mission,all guns are very realistics

I love how the Shadow Company is supposed to be the anti Task Force 141 but they end up as a Red Shirt Army when Soap and Price infiltrate their compound. Imagine if more operators of the One-Four-One were here with you as well during the mission. "What's the plan, Cap' ?" "Kill them all."
