This is a story summary of Modern Warfare 2. I love this game, the multiplayer maps like Rust or Favela, but the story is really what sticks out in my mind. Captain Price, General Shepard, SOAP, all these characters are amazing and moments like No Russian or Shepard's Betrayal will forever be burned into my memory. I wanted to explore Why Modern Warfare 2 was so awesome?! and Act upon those nostalgic memories of How American Youth Coped during the great recession . If you enjoyed please share n' stuff. Original Modern Warfare 2 is still the best COD ever made. The co-op spec ops was literally the most fun I’ve ever had playing video games with my brother. The campaign and multiplayer was amazing. My only complaint is the trophy system as you shouldn’t have to run a shooting training level so fast for that freaking platinum! Arg!

So basically, 90% of this video is you recapping the entire plot and barely adding any suggestions/explanations/criticisms as to why it was ‘dumber than you remember?’ Or at the very least dumber than MW2 2022? The idea you can invade a country as big as America in modern day is dumb, or dedicating a slice of your military to breaking out one man in a prison in the middle of a war is stupid but you don’t even mention any of that. Like I was waiting for the video to enter into commentary and it never did. I literally could have just replayed the game again.

MW2 does have the dumbest plot of all. Russia blames the U.S. for the airport massacre because they found ONE American body, yet there was another Russian terrorist that got shot down, so that plotline doesn’t work. Also, the game explains to us that Makatov was a KNOWN terrorist before the airport massacre. Wouldn’t they have ID’d him on CCTV? Also Russian navy somehow making it to the eastern seaboard undetected. They wouldn’t make it past Istanbul.

Black ops 1 was my personal favorite campaign. MW2 is a very close second tied with World at War. Black Ops 2 was my favorite multiplayer, but again MW2 is a very close second. MW 2019 gets the bronze medal. It came closest to recreating the nostalgic feeling I get from those older games. MW 2019 was the first call of duty I actually bought since Black Ops 2 and I was very pleased with it.
