"Hammerdown is in effect. I repeat, Hammerdown is in effect. If you are receiving this transmission, you are in a hardened high-value structure. Deploy green flares on the roof of this structure to indicate that you are still combat effective. We will abort our mission on direct visual contact with this counter-sign."
I'd say "The Mace" from COD 3 was epic in its own right. The Poles were stuck on that hill, outmanned and without support, having to hold off several waves of German infantry, until the Canadian Army signaled their approach with green flares and helped to force the Germans into a retreat towards Chambois, where they would be boxed in by the Americans.
This is probably my favorite track. First half is incredibly intimidating music. The Russian Army has turned the White House into a virtual stronghold and the front lawn is a killing field you have to dash through. It's super intense on Veteran. The music shifting to a heroic and inspiring tone as you race to the roof to stop the bombardment, save DC, and see green flares all across the city is the cherry on top. Such a good mission.
The Russian soldiers are brutal guns fighting and it was a great battle between the American and Russian for sure and awesome call of duty campaign mission for sure 👏 😊
00:01 Imagine us coming out a underground bunker and the white house is over took and we rushing forward with 50cals and LMGs firing at us and all electronics are down and our weapons only have iron sights to fight with.
this game is a master piece, the characters were great the soundtrack was epic as hell and the missions are epic as hell, only if modern cod campaigns were this good
I think if there was to ever be a Call of Duty movie, it should be an adaptation of this game. The intensity and intrigue is just the best I've seen from the series. It probably has the most iconic moments in the series too. The political conflicts between countries because of "No Russian" just made for an awesome plot, with great, well written characters sprinkled through out. This game or Black Ops 1 and 2 would just work so well.
@@Ahmed97855 Zimmer didn’t just make the main title theme, it credits him with “Main Theme*S*” Regardless, Lorne based most of the soundtrack off of Zimmer’s main theme, so the entire soundtrack has that Zimmer feel to it
Actually actually, Zimmer rarely does any composition himself; he has his underpaid contractors in his company do so for him under his name. He does the bare minimum and then gets the credit.
@@spetsnaz7979 I really like the new MW soundtrack I actually have it play in my home screen of my PS4 at one point it was alot different time tho alot more serious but more memorable then most CODs MW2 has the advantage of being nostalgic too ofc MW19 is new so we don't feel nostalgia
@@doomguy.23frommars60 yeah the soundtrack is ok? It's not amazing it's more modern but I just love the mw2 soundtrack in general I respect your opinion though
Fighting my way up the offices onto the roof of... I can't remember if it's the White House or the Capital Building. But that is one of if not the most memorable experiences in a shooter. And Green Flares did a lot of work to make it so good.
