Modern Warfare Ground War in 2022 

When was the last time you played Modern Warfare 2019? 🤔

I know it was a tragic time for the whole world, but honestly gaming in Lockdown 2020 was some of the most fun I have had in years. I will always remember it as being a happy time for myself.

Ground war was so underrated, it will always be with me since it's how I got Damascus. Hitting those long range shots felt super good, messing around with unpopular guns. It was just all so fun

I've been playing a lot of Ground War lately. I've missed old Verdansk and this has been helping to get me through.

Oh man, this reminded me of when you played custom 2v2s with the F.A.S.T. boys. Would love to see more of that, those vids were fantastic!

MW MP is mostly what I play. It's the best feeling game out there by far.

Ground war was the only mode I played and loved it. There could have been more maps but really like how it felt like a larger battle. But I also like battlefield games so it's kinda a mix of both.

Ground war was the best Playlist. Got my first and only nuke on promenade sniping from spawn 😅

Man I used to love groundwar! The realism mode was so immersive. MW will surely go down in history as one of the best ever cods. They got so much right. Even not including WZ. Thanks for the nostalgia Tom!

Honestly, I didn't play warzone for a year while this was the game, I just played ground war. It was soo good. I really hope that they bring it back in MW2

That's the sole reason I haven't got the game installed. I don't play warzone but if I want to play normal MW multiplayer, I HAVE to have warzone installed and suffer the gigantic updates every time I go to launch the game. In MW2, warzone NEEDS to be its own client.

So awesome, it has dual scope renders for realism, allowing you to focus on the surroundings while aiming if you wanted to. Something EA always failed to do in Battlefield.

Fact is, MW is the best CoD we’ve had so far. I only got Cold War and Vanguard at a buddy’s request and they are both uninstalled. I do enjoy the zombies on both, but I’m mostly a pvp player and MW is where it’s at.

I really hope mw 2022 turns out into a good game, because 2019 is still unbeatable

Oh Man, I miss the good old days of playing Warzone with my friends, raging and winning games occasionally. I remember when the MAAL LMG and the Serac SMG were found in loot boxes, that was some of the best days ever and it was even better before that. I hope they add all the weapons from MW 2019 to MW 2. I am really looking forward to that game, I don't normally care for COD games, but MW holds a special place in my heart for being my first online FPS game

CX9 is such a good SMG, i used it a lot on Verdansk as a short/medium backup of my AR or Sniper.

This game aged fairly well. I redownloaded on the pc and have been playing it. It’s pretty fun with pretty good maps too. I just wished they had fully embraced the tactical gun play because you still get that one guy rushing with an smg the whole game or a quickscoper that ruins the flow of everything.

I don't mind more MW 2019 Ground War videos. Keep them coming!

i played CoD back in the day of 4, but then became a battlefielder. seeing this game mode, i can get behind this.

Ground War is the only mode I play for MW19. It's still hella fun!

MW has some of the best sound design of any FPS outside of BF games, its amazing

The file size is so massive because our game is stuffed full of cosmetics waiting for us to buy. That’s why there is no download for the cosmetics when purchased. Because they are already there taking up space.

Absolutely, Tomo. Only reason I'm not playing this now is because I got tired of having to make space on my 2TB PS4 hard drive every week.

I am so ashamed that I never really gave the Ground War a proper go. It looks so fun! Heres hoping that there will be a similar sort of experience in MW2

Something that still amazes me to today is that you can kill the AC-130 Gunship with the Cruise Missile in any match, and there's an actual animation of it falling down on fire as one of its wings splits off.

The game size isnt the problem in MW. It is the fact that this gamemode was broken for half a year, that people uninstalled the game (like me).

I was playing the hell out of Ground War a few weeks ago and then Vanguard released Arms Race. I've been playing that since. It's a cool mode similar to Ground War but with a different twist. Give it a try, I'd love to see a video of it from you.

Alot of people like to point out that MW19 Ground war is cod answer to bf large scale battle or a rip off the game just because it has vehicles in the game. in reality cod have been experimenting with this type of game mode way back in cod 3 and waw

Warzone was 78GB when caldera came out. I've uninstalled because caldera is just horrible and rebirth is a sweat fest and I'd prefer a bit of casual gameplay sometimes. Used that space to reinstall Ark again.

No FPS game ever felt this grounded and sharp when it comes to movement and gunplay mechanics. They could do so much with this, milsim modes, create BF - like modes with actual map sizes, classes etc... And instead? They were greedy and had to move the dev team that made this to make another game in two years based on a dated concept of heroes (which horrifically failed in both BF2042 and Vanguard). I REALLY hope they'll understand how much they can do if they develop this platform correctly, besides MP and Warzone, MW2 will be the best military shooter game ever made

Gotta say I disagree about how killstreaks were way too powerful. They have some ridiculous moments but that's what's fun for me. Just seeing how many kills I can possibly get with each streak. Though specialist is a good option to run as well. If they were to get rid of streaks, I hope they kept specialist in it. I can't imagine it being ground war without at least a UAV or counter UAV. The advanced was very helpful as well.

2019's ground war was really nice in comparison of mw2's

Funny I don't recall helicopters and getting off anything at the beginning in ground war

I found the most broken pointman strat for ground war, abuse the equipment and perks that give you the most points, shoot down aerial killstreaks and equip white phosphorus and emergency air drop, enjoy

Wow, it looks super smooth. When I play, I get 200ms ping and half my shots don't seem to register. I thought every else had the same experience😂

I only ever got to play 1 single local lobby of ground war before every player in my region just ignored it for the rest of the games lifespan

Ground war never really clicked for me but it's def on the right track, looking forward to seeing it in this year's version

The only weird thing that seems to happen a lot in ground war now, is lots of international players with lag, and shite teammates who don’t care about objectives. Scorpion Evo 3/CX-9 is the best gun in the game :)

I don't get why they don't just expand Promenade out to include the other buildings and the parking lot of Train Station

I got rid of my console copy of MW 2019. I loved the PVP, but I couldn't install it without having Warzone installed. And warzone made the file size just too big

One of my favourite mode aside from 10v10 shipment 24/7. Shits lit and thats how I got a hang with sniper and marksman rifles. Still trash, but comfortable now with sniping.

This means the Verdansk map is still available in the game. They just don't want to let us play BR on it....

Reinstalled the game and still playing in 2022 until the new MW2 comes out. Arguable one of thr best newly dated cods out there

I really wish they didn't make Warzone a required install on PC because that took up a lot of space and I don't even play it. Multiplayer and Ground War was my favorite.

I wish they would add all the Warzone Verdansk Clash levels and maybe a few more, its just circling a portion of the map!

With ground war coming to codm, watching this has made me more than excited for when it finally comes
