Or just taken vondel and put in zombies, boom not only al mazrah. Or rebirth island given structures on it came from zombies originally lol, a lot they could have done
@@opixim Lmao what? If we had every MP map from MWII in MWIII we’d have 61 (yes I counted) fucking 6v6 maps in the game. You’re delusional if you’d take a couple ground war maps over that.
Facts, this was the best game of modern SBMM CoD. And that was while using MW2s terrible maps to start with. They added so many good ones and aftermarket parts kept the game entertaining all year round. Weapon balance could have been a bit better though
Honestly? I'm not mad. This game was meant to be a stop gap until BO6 came but Sledgehammer has done some much to breathe life and content out of it that I was just amazed on how much I played this game throughout the year. I really can't complain that much considering how many maps, weapons, aftermarket parts, perks, balancing, improvements and features we had. Heck, this "bad" season was a mid to good season in MWII
And really? I think now it's time to take a time off COD, to play some other games or do something else, maybe just unlock and level up the new guns, and take a break until BO6 arrives. It'll alleviate the fatigue that generally happens when you keep playing way too much of one thing.
I surprisingly got 16 days played on this game. Actually enjoyed. Now was it a burden at times? Yes. Frustration and heart pain problems cause this game gets your blood pressure up? Sure. But overall I liked the game.
Fine with me tbh, the content this year has generally been significantly better for MP than the previous couple of entries. Handy as I'll be sticking with MW3 until whatever main title is released in 2025.
@@Vaz_Gfacts infinity wars deserves skipping nowadays. Their recent CoD titles have been awful. 2019 stunk too I don’t care about the pandemic hype making it fun to play with friends
@@axtdub4844 Never bothered me, I have always played for kills, streaks etc. I played MW19 for nearly 4 years when I wasn't playing any single player stuff.
Given how close bo6 is, there's not really much they can do. Like I imagine once October rolls around the bo6 hype train will go in full force, so they have to stop adding new content around then. Also I feel the 5 shipments are more a meme than genuine content, which given the game ending I feel is fine enough
@@mlgtactics9911 which CoD did you pay for then, you're here acting like you did something new and innovative.. CoD has been a yearly cycle for over 10 years brother welcome to the party??
@youtubedeletedmynamewhybother Mw19 actually had a multi year run. If you are so used to buying every release that its normal and you get annoyed when people call it out, thats fine tho
I think there is no need for more content in this season. They are clearly focusing on the Haunting event until BO6 comes out. I think they put even too much effort considering there are 5 shipment reskins lol
@@calebhammonds6338 100% and thats literally the only thing they did better in MWII. that halloween vibe was unstoppable and im gonna miss using my ghoulie camo
I’m definitely gonna be switching from bo6 to mw3 back and forth for a bit until mw3 gets slow with match makings they’re completely different game styles and I wish and hope mw3 doesn’t die fast bc I absolutely love mw3
u get more than that. u auto get 1100 cps. then u get another 1100 through the pass. and the 20 tier skips. the battles pass usually sux without black cell. i do want m myers. although im a warzone mobile player.
I really liked MW3. Definitely going in the books as one of my favorite CoDs. Got so much flak for it being an MW2 upgrade, but they fixed everything wrong with the game, had a ton of content, all OG MW2 maps, solid ranked play, great movement and gunplay. All around solid CoD
Your all rotted out. MWII was the closest thing we got to the original fundamentals of cod. Great flow, great gunplay, great maps, great spawns rarely ever did the spawns flip on you, great ranked system, loud footsteps like old cods, DMZ and Al Mazrah were masterpieces, gun tuning created a variety between players. Then when MWIII released it was right back to square one lmao. Game had the worst flow, tick rate issues, spawns, and frame desync weve ever seen and its the most cheaply made cod. Yall should go back to playing fortnite
@Slurpified lol ur tripping. Literally none of those examples are true, other than mw2 having loud footsteps. Spawns were atrocious, messed up the flow, charged perk system not like the OG cods at all, tons of visual recoil, over convoluted gun smith. Called MW2 yet had 0 mw2 maps. Poor post launch content. Really bad maps (post launch)... I played the game alot and had a decent time for the most part. But mw3 literally fixed everything wrong with it and was a full blown upgrade
Having five shipment variants really rubs me the wrong way lol. Shipment is so overdone I'm getting sick of it and I hope the next Modern Warfare game does NOT add it and creates something new. Also don't get why SHGames did this to themselves when they created some great small maps themselves like Meat. We even have Rust in this game so there was no need for Shipment to exist. As long as they keep giving them Shipment we will never get rid of it. Also pretty annoyed Season 5 only had two original maps with one of them being a cell shaded map with no normal version of it. I really want those variants OUT of regular playlists so we don't have any duplicates in them and have actual locations instead of freaking cartoon environments, alien locations and what not (not to mention those variants have worse visibility). I can understand S6 being less content rich with how close it is to BO6, but I do hate the fact that Treyarch is likely to blame for taking away maps from MWIII because the allmighty Treyarch devs couldn't make their own with FOUR years of development time. Kinda feel Activision was even scared of MWIII and had to cut the content pipeline off because the impact it could have on BO6. I even enjoy MWIII more than BO6 at the moment after the beta. SHGames deserves praise for how well they handled MWIII after the cards they got dealt with 14 months of development time. Best game of the Warzone era for sure and definitely a GREAT year.
According to rumors (so take it with a grain of salt), Seasons 5 and 6 had less maps because Treyarch decided to snatch SHG's new maps for MWIII to use on BO6's Post-Launch, which, if true, I find really concerning for BO6, 4 years and they couldn't get their own maps?
Your rotted out. MWII was the closest thing we got to the original fundamentals of cod. SHG did a good job but could never overcome the foundation IW set up for them with MWII. They deserve better as an independent development team. Vanguard could have been good if they had time to cook, it had movement that was better than MW19.
@@Slurpified My my, If you can't even figure out that he said that in a negative way about MW2 then I think it's pointless to make a conversation with you to begin with. Have a nice day, I hope you will find something more meaningful to do, like, you know, a job.
Treyarch had to leave BO4 behind mid-cycle and work on Cold War, and also do Zombies for Vanguard and MWIII, so maybe I'm not entirely mad about them pinching a few maps
I get that it's the final season and there's like 1.5 months till BO6 comes out, so there's less focus on MWIII, but still pretty lackluster on map count. I wonder if SHG got pulled to work on Cod 2025, so their support for MWIII is a smaller crew (not to mention the layoffs that happened with all Activision studios several months back). And if the rumours of Treyarch taking maps SHG had developed for MWIII to use for post launch in BO6 are true, that's really not a good sign from Treyarch. They had 4 years for Black Ops 6 and still had to take maps from SHG who had less than 2 years for MWIII. Really hope SHG gets a proper full dev cycle for their own game to make what they want, because they've been handed some bad hands lately and killed it with MWIII up until around Season 5.
i hope they appropriately nerf the STG44 and static.. so that other ARs and SMGs are finally viable again.. the STG44 is so incredibly OP in its range and bullet velocity that it completely outclasses the Holger, ever BR and every LMG
I mean the M13B, MTZ556, and Tempus Razorback are good counters to the STG up close and range wise a sniper or marksman rifle, in particular the TAQ-M , KVD Enforcer, and KV Inhibitor can one shot to the head, in terms of accuracy of course the JAK Requiem is still better so I think the STG is in a good spot.
@@fatesblade7171 not rewally. the STG is so incredibly easy to use and has no real trade off. it handles faster than the holger and outranges is by over 10m. BRs are essentially useless as long as it exists
In terms of post launch content, I'd actually prefer them to front-load the content so that a lot of it is added when they still have a lot of people playing the game
That’s what I said! It definitely would’ve been awesome if Seasons 5 and 6 got the same amount of content as the first Four Seasons in terms of maps, but I’m glad it’s the last few seasons that are unfortunately content dry and not the other way around. By this point, most people like Ace said, are checked out of MWIII and more interested in BO6. MWIII already has an absurd amount of content with around 40+ maps and lots of variants! I’m pretty happy with what we gotten so far regardless. I think a perfect middle ground they could’ve done right now for the last two seasons is to carry forward more MWII maps, to fill in the void of only 1 new map. Especially the late MWII maps, like Vondel Waterfront, DRC Zone, Punta Mar or Koro Village for example. Kind of a bummer they stopped carry forward maps after Season 2.
@@SuperDarkHalo according to rumors (so take it with a grain of salt), Seasons 5 and 6 of MWIII had less MP maps because Treyarch took them for BO6's Post-Launch instead.
I just checked and I think he incorrectly assumed Hardhat was coming to MWIII when it's only coming to Mobile. If Hardhat was also coming to MWIII, my take would've been much different from what it is here.
Nero was surprisingly positive, but damn that comment was filled with SHG/MW3 love. Told folks if SHG is giving a fair shot then they could do so much more. Sadly that wasn't the case again here, they have to scoot on the side for BO6. Was a nice ride
I'm not really upset but this feels kind of contradictory. Treyarch is giving us an LMG and Battle Rifle which are 2 weapons u want for medium to longer range yet they are only giving us small maps.
Snipers too, like when am i ever going to use one? Even quickscoping becomes a bit useless when everyone has an automatic weapons, recon-wall-hacks and 3 meters squared to fight over rapidly flipping spawns.. Fuck that noise and effort.
The map variants were fun at first, but now they're just annoying. The maps have silly skins now, just like the operators. For as many maps as this game has, I feel like I'm always playing on the same three or four. Same goes for the guns- tons and tons of options, and yet the balancing is so bad, you only see people running the same handful of guns.
People will complain about COD forever no matter how good it is. While MW3 2023 is not the perfect COD, it's probably the closest we've ever had. It will definitely be in my top five with BO2, MW2 (original), and BO4, and Ghosts (not in order). What I'm worried about is that this game won't be remembered so positively and won't carry forward all of the good things - especially the quality of life components. I think this game's biggest obstacle was MW2 2022 which is indisputably the worst COD in history (probably on purpose bc of the Microsoft merger). MW3 could have been GOATed if didn't have the big problems with SBMM, prestige system, and disbanding lobbies. Most of the other issues were super minor: too many attachments (yes, but the gunsmith is way better than in the past couple years with all the stat detriments), lack of maps (but the ones we got were pretty good), gun balance (is always an issue; it's better than in prior years which were typically dominated by one gun).
@@RotaryPoweredRX Ya, this is probably the most lucrative video game franchise other than pokemon. The fact that they still use servers from the 1990s is ridiculous. The unreliability and low tick rate are unacceptable. Also, they need to optimize the game. It looks fine enough, we need to be able to run it without stutters.
The one thing/s that I want for MWiii would be either more ground war maps and or permanently add the G3T H1GH parkour modes, and as an added bonus Steve Ouimette would release the game version bgm of G3T H1GH
Hope they add all the LTM modes and maps into Private Matches at the end of the life cycle. I want to play Hordepoint and not have it randomly stop being available.
Variant maps are not content! They knew all the way back in 2012 that adding fog and particles to a map only makes visibility worse and ticks off fans, and then they do it like 12 times in MP this year...
To be fair, they did give player models an exception within fog, so you stand out like a sore thumb in fog, looks really bad but keeps visibility function as normal.
As a big horror fan, I’m actually VERY excited for the content. I love Hordepoint and the new licensed horror movie skins and the Haunting content coming for Warzone.
Honestly, I'm kinda glad that they're only releasing one new map that's deluding the map pool into like 80% small map rotation anyway. I haven't played big maps like Estate or Rundown in ages, which sucks.
If anyone asks the reason why is the pace of play. Even with the movement and what not tdm and domination just feel so slow compared to what it was in cods prime. TDM is just a lot of camping and just weird styles and domination is missing that war it felt like trying to get the B flag. Search lobbies are usually dead after 3-4 rounds. I feel like it’s time for search to go back to 4 rounds it can stay 6 for the pros if that’s what they want and for domination to go back to switching sides.
@@Sondisberg I mean shipment plays the same every cod, which is fast. But Cold War world war 2 black ops 4 mw2 mw3 it all just plays so boring cause all people do is camp or just don’t play the objective whatsoever
@@robertminnich622 Yeah man I think it's just you. Camping has always been a thing especially in old CoDs without unlimited sprinting, fast ttk and larger maps. MW3 gave us a glimpse into how it used to play with all the remade og mw2 maps.
Don't see the issue with this season. We saw it coming from the day we saw the S5 roadmap. Sledgehammer had minimal time to even push out this game and somehow managed to turn the tide with constant events and content updates during the first 4 seasons. As it stands the game already has a ton of content, from new weapons to AMPs to maps.
Unlocks are different from actual content lol. Most things in MWIII that was considered content was just old guns and maps. MWII was better go play fortnite

Seeing from your YT videos, I can definitely tell you are the type of person to have liked MWII better. We can def run some on either CoD or Fort if you'd like 🙂
@@dannynguyen2050 This is an issue with just about every CoD game since MW19, but I definitely understand this sentiment now with MWIII. The servers were just too poor, especially for me who enjoyed playing the zombies a lot as well as MP this year.
Sledgehammer Games didn't need anything more than a year, the base game was done more than a decade ago, and the engine was done by IW the year prior. All they did was reskin some guns, they basically didn't do anything.
I wish Arena Shipment was the Shipment we had all along. It actually looks unique while keeping the same layout. Instead, they just copy pasted Shipment directly from MWII.
When I first saw it, I was hoping it would be more like Shipment from Ghosts, with more of a perimeter, but I highly doubt they put that much effort in

Thank ace for actually going in detail for whtas happening. Every other content creator is glazing this final season saying its the best ever and going out with a bang
Yeah, honestly I think the developers need a break so I can understand. I think Activision was really pushing them to fill up the content trough, regardless of what it was, if it was new or exciting. There were moments of inspiration that would shine through, but most of this game was bland and uninspired. The result of devs who just didn’t want to make this game.
What? Lmao. This game has more modes than any game I’ve ever seen in my life. The best graphics, the most attachments , the most guns, the most camos, the most operator skins, so idk what the fuck you people are talking about .

HOLY SHIT THEY ACTUALLY PUT THE HCAR IN!!! YESS!!! I have been wanting that in the game since MW22 (and I've wanted it in Killing Floor 2 but they never did) and I didn't think I'd ever see the day! it actually fits right in with the WW2 rifles and the HCAR has been in very few video games! As a battle rifle enthusiast this is kick ass news! I've known about it for years and have never had the chance to play it!
Yeah, I'm also excited to use it, the only other game I know that had the HCAR was PAYDAY 2, and while that was nice, I'm glad it's receiving the CoD treatment.
I cant fathom adding such big crossover bundles like darly dixon right when the next game is about come out. It would be such a waste of money to buy bundles at this point
Mw23 mp has been a fantastic turn around from mw22. Unfortunately i dont think this is a sledgehammer decision for lack of new maps this season. I think they just want to get as many people to go to bo6 asap. Glad sledge got the chance to redeem themselves for vanguard
Sledgehammer stopped trying. People keep voting for Shipment, so they're giving people what they want. "You all like Shipment so much. Here! Have some more Shipment! You can have more Shipment than ever before!" - Sledgehammer probably.
Personally, the main reason I’d return to this game after BO6 release, would be the OG MW2 maps so I don’t mind the lack new maps. MW3 already has the most amount of maps out of any cod since MW19
Hate the map variants and I guess the fact that small maps are most popular right now. Not surprised about not much content this season but slightly disappointed also. Mw3 has been best cod since Cold War though imo
Great video. Imagine how great COD would be if they hired TheXclusiveAce to help build it, and gave him actual decision making power.. A MAN CAN DREAM PEOPLE
This game had a sweet spot right at release when it was just the mw2 maps. It was the closest thing we ever got to a mw2 remaster… well at least sustainably 😢
Personally I’m excited about the KATT AMR conversion kit. Whether it’ll actually be a rocket launcher (that’ll hopefully still accept attachments, carry more than 2 spare rounds, and maybe even have better velocity; there do exist rockets that penetrate based on velocity alone) or a single-shot 20mm remains to be seen, as well as how many hits it would take to down a VTOL (reference: the Crossbow w/ Thermite Bolts takes 6 shots, as does the Strela-P).
When I saw Paris I thought it'd be Resistance for a second 😭 Arkaden and Seatown would've been good too, but my most requested map, Hardhat, was added to WZM for instead 😭😭
MW3 was probably my favorite Sledgehammer MP game. AW was fun, but a little gimmicky, plus the lootbox BS turned me off hard, but this one was just fun all around. Kept MW2's great attachment system, improved on the gun unlock system (thank god), and kept the guns and attachments, a ton of new maps, a ton of old maps, a ton of aftermarket kits that changed guns and a ton of new modes that, while nobody played after launch, were still really fun. After WW2 and Vanguard, I lost hope, but they pulled through this year.
Im ok with it. The content throughout the year, how much feedback was taken into account for was insane anyway. Respect to sledgehammer, they gave us one heck of a year of cod mp. Def top 2 in the modern cods
MW3 was such a nice ride when you take it all in(Pause). Not a perfect game but a good game. Haven't had this much fun since BO6 and I enjoyed BO6's beta, so maybe that'll take the throne for me personally. Peace & Love folks peace & love!
I don’t have much to say about the final season of MW3. All I’m looking forward to is the new battle pass guns to fully level and bring them to zombies for camos before multiplayer and a shipment playlist of some sort with those variants.
People joke that people are too adhd or zoomer and need shipment to have fun. but too be fair the reason people like those maps is more to level weapons and grind camos more than anything else
This makes sense, like the new Dragon Ball FighterZ update that completely opened up the combo possibilities for each character weeks before the launch of the new DBZ game. MW3 gets a bunch of small grindy maps so players can finish leveling weapons and getting camos while they wait for the new CoD game. Why would they waste time with a bunch of new content for a game that the majority of the player base is going to abandon in the next few weeks?
No need to purchase the last battlepass on this game, one new map is a win. If you dont buy anything it's still new content, and it will be free for me. I'm more excited for BLOPS6. MW-III has been one of the better games in recent years
They already got most of their money out of this game and milked it enough for the yearly cycle. Activision is already looking to BO6 now. You know how the cycle goes...
I have enjoyed MW3 a lot more than I expected, but I agree this final season feels like just barely enough. I look forward to the new map and the Meat variant. While I like the tiny chaos maps sometimes, five shipments to end off the game feels confusing to me. The two new guns and aftermarket parts I'm sure will be nice, agree the change of pace from another AR and/or SMG is always welcome. One thing I will also say, I know season five was story finale of MWZ, but seeing it get no content this season aside from stuff for the entire game is, kinda depressing.
Feels like they had to cut season 6 content with layoffs or for Treyarch so they had to merge all of season 5’s content into one season whilst adding a bunch of redesigned maps to miserably attempt to make up for that. Checks out with how we only got 2 maps in season 5 and we’re only getting 3 aftermarket parts without any new modes
Warzone got freaking nothing for big map again, and it's gonna keep getting nothing for probably another 6 months. That's what you call a freaking whimper.
Their fascination with shipment is just bizarre to me. It was a thing back in the day because it was so unique as a small map and chaotic. But over time it's just becoming brainless and we definitely don't need a million versions of it every year. Shows how brainless cod multiplayer is these days. I remember when cod was actually half a tactical shooter and not a spawn, kill, die, spawn, kill, die simulator. Cod is horrible these days, ugh.
