Since it wasn't mentioned Beyond and Exceed the Pendulum are based on Ray the duelist who defeated Zarc so it can be said when Yuya restored Yuzu and the Bracelet girls the memories of Ray became a monster spirit which one can headcanon being Yuya's Yubel who helped him get Odd-Eyes ArcRay and accept his Supreme King side.
Man, Pendulums are rough to work with. I decided to heavily focus on the anime, and leave the vast majority of the manga cards for some other list later on, which is why there arent cards like Odd-Eyes Arc Pendulum, Revolution, Vortex, Meteorburst, or Absolute Dragon here. At the end of the day, this was still a fun deck to build!
Just some things that stood out to me that I wanted to correct: Stargazer's effect doesn't require you to control no other cards, it requires that no other cards were returned to the hand Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon was the second upgrade to Dark Rebellion. Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon was the first and Odd-Eyes Rebellion Xyz Dragon was legacy support they made years later Still a very cool video👍 Arc V and Vrains are the ones I care most about, as they're the only 2 I watched as they came out
@@BurstFlare Yes, I get that, but when he says "The story of ARC-V Ended just 7 years ago," he's really just talking about the actual Animated TV Program, and not about the continuation of the story that began in Duel Links.
Man i miss MR3 Pend mechanics... Hope the rules will eventually be updated to restore it back or close to back. Pend did not deserve that much hate for so long
Personally speaking, I sorta feel like if Yuya did still have the cards adjacent to Zarc (not counting the two base Magicians or the Dimensional Dragons), they'd be in his side deck rather than his main one. Just feels like they might be a little overkill for Yuya to use.
I personally consider Odd-Eyes Rebellion to be the true combined evolution of Odd-Eyes and Dark Rebellion, since it appeared way before Odd-Eyes Raging and *actually* shares a part of its name with Dark Rebellion, being "Rebellion". I won't deny that Odd-Eyes Ragin is also technically an evolution of those two cards, but I'd consider it more as an alternate evolution rather than the true evolution.
@@whambamduel Actually, it's the upgraded form of Arc Rebellion, which itself is an upgraded form of Dark Rebellion. But taking that into account, Odd-Eyes Rebellion Xyz can't even use Dark Rebellion or Arc Rebellion as its materials, as it specifically requires Pendulum Monsters as its materials. But also, tbh, I mistakenly thought he put the original Odd-Eyes Rebellion in here instead of Odd-Eyes Rebellion Xyz, and I didn't realize Odd-Eyes Rebellion Xyz was even a thing. I was only arguing about him calling Odd-Eyes *Raging* the evolved version of Odd-Eyes and Dark Rebellion.
Well done RU-vidr 43.8K subscribers You have RU-vid gold and silver I am so happy for you 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Yuya Sakaki phrase: time to swing into action ❤❤❤❤❤❤
You gonna do the rivals next? Eager for Kaiba's, Chazz's, Jack's, Kite's, and Declan's updates. Especially Kaiba's. Since Blue-Eyes is my main favorite monster.
Is it me or I feel like this is more a zark deck than yuya I personally think the original magicians are better fit for yuya but I see the point of having the performapal I personally think the magician are better fit for an adult yuya
I want to preface this by saying that I really enjoy what you do and I've been subscribed to you for a few years, so whenever your videos come up, I always love to listen to your ideas. That being said though, I can't help but express that I'm a bit disheartened by this one. I feel a lot of this deck profile felt devoid of what actually represents Yuya in favor of generic or tangential aspects about him. The overfocus on the Pendulum Magicians, like the Dimension Dragon expys that he never used, and the fixation on Z-Arc, felt really disingenuous to a deck meant to represent Yuya. I do agree that there would still be aspects of that inside of him, and I would definitely rally behind cards like Harmonizing Magician being in the deck as a evolution of the ideology he had behind Tuning Magician, but cards like Duelist Extraordinaire/Astrograph/Chronograph/the Pendulumgraph Continuous Spells felt like you left Yuya's style of dueling in favor of the historical OCG/TCG way of playing Pendulum, furthered by the inclusion of the Z-Arc backrow line up. In fact, there were a lot of cards here that felt like "What's generic Pendulum support?" instead of considering what Yuya had or would play - Magician of Hope came out of left field, for example, and Polymerization was a card that was never actually part of his deck (he made it a point to fuse with his Pendulum effects; why would he have stopped in the future? The Poly he used was actually Yuzu's card). The revisions to make Yuya's deck more Pendulum Magician / Zarc focus also detracts from the parts of Yuya's deck that were sparred. Take cards like Beast-Eyes, who was left with only one Beast monster in the entire Main Deck to fuse with (and it's the monster that is almost always meant to be scaled), or Odd-Eyes Synchron, who is left with only Stargazer Magician as a target to make Clear Wing. As a massive Arc-V fan, this, to me, feels like including the Neos Fusion Monsters but neglecting to add Miracle Contact and Neo Space. Is it possible to make these boss monsters with the deck in the video? Of course. But removing a lot of the "enablers" that allowed Yuya to access these cards in the first place feel unjust. In fact, the Dimension Dragon expy Magicians all facilitate the summoning of the Supreme King monsters, who are all relegated to the Side Deck (noted how you can easily make SK Clear Wing with them, but not the OG). Cards like Performapal Silver Claw and Camelump, who were imo the heart and soul of the Miami Champ arc for being material for both Beast-Eyes and Dark Rebellion, as well as Acrobatic Magician, a great card that could assist in the Level 5 department for Synchron and had a huge moment in the Jack rematch, would've been excellent additions to the deck. They would not be dissimilar to cards like Clayman or Quillbolt Hedgehog, who were added in lists for the nostalgia factor. Nirvana High Paladin also feels like it was tacked on without consideration of how it would be summoned - you're either making it with Enlightenment Paladin + Odd-Eyes Synchron (the only Level 2 in the deck) or you're using Clear Wing with Timegazer (this is, thankfully, realistic, as Harmonzing can use Timegazer as material for Clear Wing, and then you Pendulum Timegazer back out). In the same way that Stardust Xiaolong was included in the Yusei deck as a nod to Majestic Star Dragon's canonical appearance, I feel like Cheermole should've been included, as you can use her with Enlightenment to make NHP, or even potentially revive it in a dire situation with Odd-Eyes Synchron to make a Link Summon (O-ES has no Level 3 or targets in the entire deck for its revival effect at the moment, another oversight) All in all, while I really adore this channel, and love that you're putting time and effort into making these really cool post-anime deck profiles, I feel as though the same level of consideration, nostalgia, and appreciation for the characters seen in other deck profiles weren't applied to this one. This entry felt very shallow to me when watching it, which is a shame, as I know you put a lot of thought into your videos, and I'm sure you did for this one too. I think the direction of the Pend Magicians / Z-Arc stuff snowballed the deck profile into something that Yuya isn't - would've loved to see that all kept in the Side Deck.
@SpellCommander91 you should have included the Spell Cards Pendulum Fusion and Pendulum Xyz, as well as the fusion monster Brave-Eyes Pendulum Dragon and Yuya's "Kuriboh" monsters Performapal Kuribohble, Performapal Classikuriboh, and Performapal Barokuriboh (though you also left Rainbow Kuriboh out of Yuma's decklist for some reason)
One thing I made-up in my mind one day is a dimension dragon named Network Storm Link Dragon. It has two arrows pointing down and one up as well as 2500 attack and it has an effect depending on what is pointing at.
And the Gate Spellcards are still nowhere near in sight from Konami, but then again, i doubt those would have made the Cut here, as they seem to be tailored to the other Branches of Zarcs Dragons Well, looking forward to Playmaker next Week, and even more who is after him. Rush Protag in Master Rule? The Rivals? The best Friends/Lancers to the MP´s? Or the female leads?
Rush Characters with Master Duel decks is something we have been discussing, but I'm really not sure what to do aside from decks that normal summon a lot (yosenju or floo) to mimic the infinite normal summons of Rush. Yudias plays a Galaxy Deck, which is kinda Kite/Mizar's thing in the TCG. We're currently on track to do the rivals next. Between all the different MC decks we've posted so far, we've seen a lot of comments asking for Kaiba, Chazz, and other rivals. After we do the rivals, we're probably gonna do Joey, then let people start voting on which character comes next after.
@@whambamduel When you build this Deck, did either of you realise that "Astrograph" and "Chronograph" share the Stats of "Dark Magician" and "Dark Magician Girl" respectivly?
I always wondered why saber and wizard says odd-eyes dragon instead of odd-eyes pendulum dragon since it is the evolution. And Odd-Eyes Gravity Dragon exist which should or should not exist and odd-eyes pendulumgraph dragon exist after it.
Minor lore detail but didn't Z-ARC end up reborn into Reira/Riley at the end, seperate from Yuya? It's possible that Yuya might NOT have access to the Supreme King stuff.
That may be true, however Performapal Duelist Extraordinaire is literally Yuya and works with the Supreme King Dragons. That and the other fact that he still has all 4 dimensional dragons, and it's far more likely that Yuya gets to keep the power. Not to mention that the redeemed Zarc card is an Odd-Eyes monster.
Now to be fair, the side decks for these profiles are meant to be an extension of the main and Extra decks more than anything else. There are more beasts in the Side deck.
@J.Blazer true, but I didn't want to leave out Yuya's hippo monsters - he's got some kinda attachment to them, even if I didn't want to include any Hippo Carnivals.
