im not hijabi but i prefer to cover my arms, the only thing i dislike about the sleeves sometimes is that they fall off and i have to keep pulling them up 😭 thats why im a fan of boleros
@@believer-qm3hv for me they do, when i move my arms a lot they start falling off 😭😭 also if i wear bigger shirts my forearms and armpits can be seen from some angles so yeah, i prefer ones that arent fully cotton. the cotton ones also get stretched so they fall off.
i do a similar thing with sleeves but instead of ordering them i thrift long sleeve shirts i like the sleeves of and cut them off and safety pin them to the inside of the sleeve of whatever tee i want to wear. or if i can cut them long enough I'll pin the sleeve to my bra strap. whatever feels more secure. you could also just cut off the excess body of the shirt but leave the sleeves attached by the neckline, maybe leave a little bit of the chest and back, so that i can wear a shirt with a lower neckline on top of it and it just looks like I'm layered, but from my chest down it's one layer and I'm nice and cool. I'm not Muslim, or really very religious at all, but i love being modest and covered. it just makes me feel comfortable. i love following you and other modest-dressing creators for ideas ❤
Thanks so much sister❤ my sister is a new hijabi at 18 and she started going to college and she didn’t really know how to style her hijab or dress modest(my mom helped with the hijab but she said she didn’t like our moms styler she does it) and I showed her your channel and she said it really helped!!❤ thanks so much!😊
The women with head like a camel hump will not enter paradise. As I have long hair so I have to make bun under my scarf. Am I doing right. Answer: The hadith you mentioned is as follows: Abu Hurayrah narrates from the prophet (pbuh): There are two groups from among the dwellers of Hell whom I have not seen. Some people who have whips like tails of cows, with which they beat people; And women covering their bodies yet naked, who flirt and attract, whose heads are like the humps of camels. They will not enter paradise, nor will they enjoy its fragrance, even though its fragrance can be smelt from such and such distance” (Muslim, 3978) First, the hadith, as you can see, has nothing to do with any kinds of innocently covering a long hair in any fashion. The hadith is clearly referring to women who have inappropriate behaviour (note the underlined section). 'Heads like humps of camel' is only one of their signs. The problem with these women therefore is not the style of hair, but their evil behaviour. Second, 'heads like humps of camel' can have many meanings, as the scholars have explained. To interpret it to mean covering a long, ponytail like hair, is only an interpretation. The wording itself does not say that.
@@penguinz3438 i plan to once i enter college, but it's mainly because I do a lot of sports and my family doesn't trust me to sustain being a hijabj while doing all of those sports.
@@kermit995 do tonnes of sports, once you enter college i definitely recommend you to get one piece hijabs for when doing sports, I’ve experimented with them and they’re amazing!! Good luck on both your sporting and hijab journey! 💓
Thanks for the tips! I'm a guy, in EMS and a medic for the Army, and I ALWAYS worry about this in summer! Especially on bases, trainees end up wearing all black PTs and then have to wear a black hijab to match, so I like to have additional tips to offer to stay cool if they don't already know.
Honestly the best clothing for hot weather is medina silk abaya and khimar, I just recently started wearing it (not all the time yet) and when I dress "normally" again I feel way too hot in comparison
I just found you on tiktok and I just love your videos I also see your videos when you visited Pakistan after 9 years you are soo nice that you visit different countries to save people I love you sooooooo much ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
GIRL. IM WATCHING UR WHOLE ACCOUNT BC IM GONNA WEAR A HIJAB 🧕 NEXT YEAR AND I MEAN OVER A MONTH!!! I LOVE YOUU❤❤❤ and everyone who comments, HAS to be Muslim.
I used to wear chiffon and I still do but when I started wearing jersey I felt more comfortable because when wearing chiffon it's like revealing hair and that but with jersey it covers everything so I think it's better
We’re Christian but my daughter’s BFF is Muslim and convinced her to dress modestly with a hijab when they socialise in public. My daughter has taken to dressing accordingly with a hijab. Westerners should take note of how our Muslim brothers and sisters dress. They convinced my wife to try it in public and it is quite refreshing.
Hi!! I love your videos and I was wondering where do you get your clothes I struggle so much to try and find good clothes that fit and that aren’t to thick to wear in the summer
