I think if any one of the original three hadn't have been in the band, then it wouldn't sound so fucking amazing. The three of them just had their own creative ways, that seem to flow all together into this... unexplainably great music
just when I thought the internet couldn't get any worse, it goes and does something like this...........AND TOTALLY REDEEMS ITSELF!!!!! feel blessed to have seen this at the perfect time.... sparking a warm remembrance of another perfect time.... Napster and 1997 and November
Actually, there is a really good video of truckers atlas that keeps all three of them in view. Pretty neat to watch Jeremiah play the whole song. I don't remember who posted it, but I have it liked or favorited or something, I can dig up the link if anyone wants.
i love how eric just slightly changes the bassline during the " roads the ways The freeways and highways don't know" part, it makes the song sound more sweet and almost longing in a way
As much as I'd love to use a time machine to see this entire performance. It could possibly mess things up for the present time, and you could come back to Modest Mouse being slightly or maybe even completely different. Losing some of your favourite songs in the process of using a time machine to see them in a time and place where you don't belong.
why come back? you could use your advance knowledge to join the band/crew and see every modest mouse show from then on... don't worry about ruining present modest mouse with your time travel. it actually creates a new dimension when you do that.
Been a while since I posted that, but I think this is the video I was referring to. watch?v=TdBmQIFSGiM&list=FLbFLdDWeaTeuTk9W-hlrxWQ&index=16&feature=plpp_video I see I have a dead link already posted here, not sure if this is what I had posted previously. They zoom in from where they are at the start a lil too.
@Zargon314 I wish there was just a single video on youtube that was on Jeremiah the whole time. there's videos of so many other (shitty) drummers, but not a single one of him.. so frustrating!
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TdBmQIFSGiM.html That one is pretty good, and keeps him in view the entire time I think. (thanks to the angle of the recorder, he's just behind brock to the right, hard to not get him in)
