Even in a long drawn out war, if Indian troops decide to strategically retreat and engage in guerilla warfare in places like mountains and jungles - and the Navy cuts off Chinese shipping going through the Indian Ocean (which is most of China's shipping, especially in terms of energy resources); China will not come out as any sort of winner - it'll be an absolute black hole of Chinese money and lives for no tangible gain. Their military's carefully constructed artificial image will be shattered forever, their growth story will likely be permanently derailed, and other countries in East Asia will up the ante against them even more after that.

We try to abide by the "one china " policy as we had a formal "understanding " with China during Indira Gandhis time that we would abide by their "one china" policy in return for their recognition of Sikkim. The Chinese have kept their word and so , by and large , have we.

Derecognition of degrees for a particular university is not so easy. We have sons and daughters of our politicians and bureaucracy who have degrees from the university in question. Also they can retaliate by derecognition of degrees from some of our own universities

Bharat if a signatory to one China policy, can't retract from recognition of this policy , then China should not indulge in activities like Tawang, Galwan, Doklam etc. Tibet, was part of China? ever.
