With each passing day, my admiration for the NDA government grows by leaps and bounds with such exposure. They are doing a marvelous job of uprooting the muck holding us back from making progress. I have dealt with such NGO'S during the construction of our Power station. I was corporate environmental incharge and have a long experience of dealing with these people in the courts. I have won all the cases including the SLP in Supreme court. Thanks to my strong scientific background. Now situation is more murkier. Too many self proclaimed Environmental activities. BTW I am the one who has discovered the Vadhvan Port site in 1993.
NGOs bring zero finance for projects; their income through foreign donations is used for administrative expenses including publicity ,payoffs to the influential etc.
Govt does not take action where there is need of strict action. Example is Moihua Mitra. Except loosing LS sheet, no criminal charges were framed and acted upon. Such inactions are emboldening such elements.
Adani, Ambani, TATA, Mahindra, etc. all are our national assets and national champion companies. We need to protect them and help them grow while protecting national interest.
Why can't the NGOs operating in India be mandated to raise 90% of their funds in India & no more than 10% foreign sources. & cap on individual donations - so no single Soros or O-mid-D-yaars can hijack the NGO.
Send these foreign NGOs back to oppose developers in their home countries, with Indian NGOs see if there is a communal or political (especially Marxist or Maoist or Naxal ) links and if they can't get majorities in elections, shunt them out. Tikait of the Farmers Protest could not even hold his deposit.
Cancellation of lisences and crackdown on these NGO's is a great thing happening. During Narmada Bachao andolan Medha Patkar had received one particular amount of donation from several different accounts. Fun fact was that the amount was exactly same from all the donors. They stopped the water of several villages, in the name of environment. Adani is on their Target because he is strengthening India's position by investing in developing countries. They talk about environment but look at their space junk. Recent rocket blast of SpaceX had left tremendous amount of junk in space. They are leaving junk in space, forget about earth and they lecture others on environment..

In the third , Modi Govt. is still struggling to curb NGOs with illegal activities , should have been finished all this job much earlier. Enemies within India are at large than outside and is a big challenge for Modi Govt. and people of India are in no mood to grant PM post to Modi for ever. Either he has to prove with challenging task or vacate the PM position for much deserving leader , Yogi.
