They attended the meeting but no one came forward to take responsibility.Razvi announced in that meeting that he was ready to hand over the reins of the party to any youth above the age of twelve years..An eighteen year old boy named Abdul Wahid Owaisi..came forward..at least he had no connection with the party at that time..Seeing the courage of Wahid Owaisi the then Nizam..proposed his name as the head of the MIM party. He did..Qasim Razvi supported him..The reins of the party came into Owaisi's hands..He was sentenced to 11 months in jail for the crime of assuming the leadership of a banned party.After his imprisonment.. Nehru offered to give Owaisi the post of Union Minister.. But.. Wahid Owaisi did not agree.. He spent his full time to give new impetus to MIM.. In 1975, Wahid Owaisi's son Salahuddin Owaisi.. took over the reins of the party from his father.. His sons Asaduddin and Akbaruddin The Owaisis* are currently doing well for the party.. Just think, how can these brothers from this background love India?
