After several months, I finally added spring lifters and lateral adjusters to my Harbor Freight 30” sheet metal brake.
This is a no-welding build based on many of the things other RU-vidrs did to theirs. In part, my build went this way based on materials I already had. For whatever reason, I wanted to keep my clamping plate add-on as low profile and flat topped as possibly. I decided to use a bolted pressure bar connection rather than welding steel to the pressure bar because the bolted option was easier for me to do and can be undone and tuned-up (if that ever becomes an issue).
