If you want to keep the JDM-styled canon look then you can get a rep HKS back box from SideHustleGarage. The ones they stock have next to no baffling inside so it shouldn't affect the sound. Think it's about R650 or R700 if I remember correctly.
I like the sound without the back box... It's definitely softer than with the broken box but it also sounds better in it's own way. Most definitely add a tail piece and let it be brother. It sounds amazing.
Thank you brother I appreciate that, well she has SWR Unequal length headers/branches with a 50 mm freeflow exhaust, 1 x resonator and depending on which part you like a JDM back box or no back box
Hey Man I have added headers and straight piped (4-2-1) to my 1.4 ford figo. Got grewt power gains. 8kw and 20nm at the fly wheel. I am considering doing an ecu remap now as well. Would the remap make a decent enough differnece? What are your thoughts?
Hey brother gosh that car must be super loud if it's straight piped😂 the standard ECU on the Figo can't really be mapped because they self adjust according to Air intake temps. One can pull some timing or add timing but not much unless you running a Unichip but a friend that had that said he had to go to the tuner once ever few months
@BrandanHewitt yeah no it was loud. I actually asked to put a box at the back cause it was a bit too loud. Thanks for the valuable advice. Almost spent quite a bit money doing the remap. Any idea on the cost of performance cams?
As far as I know the cams are about R2-3k but it's also the thing of finding them I know guys on the Figo & fiesta group resell between each other but not sure if you'll find a brand new set. Yea I'm currently running only a resonator, she's loud but bearable at least, does your pop about now around 3k rpm? A tip if you want it to pop loud, slightly hold the clutch down on decell around 4 to 3 km rpm
