I have been lucky enough to have owned or built a few Fords in my earlier years. A few people may remember the 107e, originally a 105e engine in a 100e shell, mine had 1; 1300 xflow 2; 1600 xflow 3; 2000 pinto and lastly a 3000 Essex. The last nearly killed me. Also an RS2000 mk2 'fishnet' 1980, Burton modded to 135bhp. 1970 Capri 3000gtxlr, tweaked to 145 usable bhp. None were subjected to the pointless abuse of prolonged burn-outs, and all took part in sprints. Dave

@@garybristow5044 OK. That must have cost a fortune to get a C20LET to that level. The Saab B204 / B234 series are all fully forged throughout from the factory. They take up to 500bhp with no engine mods. Hence why they are so popular for Vauxhall conversions.

DJ_PaulTUK he has had it a while to be fair to him but wouldn’t be cheap in a C20LET as I have one in a different car and will cost a fair bit, but he does a fair few conversions for others as well and uses B204 engines as well in corsas and novas.

There's a VW Golf around the corner from my house that looks like that Merc XD. The guy legit went out and had it resprayed RUST and then put black and white stickerbomb over the bumpers and bits that arent in metal
