DSG gearbox cutoffs the spark plugs while shifting to prevent engine from over revving so the unburnt gases comes to the hot exhaust pipe and ignites thats the reason behind braaaappppp sound💥💥💥

Bro next time you drive a Polo GT, launch it in the Manual Tiptronic Mode, the lag is significantly lesser and it revs way more. I do it all the time and its just plain bonkers when it revs till 5500.
