i bought a Awei Y200 bluetooth speaker and charged it with a 5V-2A charger and after 2hrs when i switched it on and connected it with my phone and played ......it hardly played for 1min and just shut off. I then realized the battery inside melted. Battery details: JKJ 18650 3.7v 2500mAh 1803-20 could you plz tell me.....what went wrong.............need your help
Give some pre-glued heat shrink a try. If you ever have a device that will vibrate, it helps with strengthening your joints. Ive been wiring for some time now and i can say it truly helps with strength and gives some moisture resistance.
Don't worry too much about your frame rate, for people who care (Like me) we use motion interpretation like SVP or a TV's soap opera effect to get it. Still a good effort, saves a bit of my CPU. ;)
I have a tzumi Bluetooth speaker that plays very loud,is good, but has rechargeable battery, and I can't keep it charged ,batt. Capacity 1800mAh,input 5v/1A,output Max 20W,I put another similar battery in series and want to keep continuing power to batt,is there anything else I can add, bigger battery is what I want, Respect,MLLH$R
In Baltic States there is one company who bought empty cases off blothooth speaker cases from China rought eBay. He bought cheapest same size speakers and long story short 3ple the profit after covering costs. As a Hoby.
the real way to get more life is get rid of the dumb blue tooth part and directly connect to the amp, less power and you can use it on anything, so no going out and buying a cell phone for a unpleasant music player.
RockeyDAproductions - you really are a totally stupid knob. If you "get rid of the dumb blue tooth part" from a Bluetooth speaker, you would COMPLETELY defeat the purpose of it.
Hey, doesn't it like add on the voltage? You know like 3.7 and then another 3.7 making it 7.4 volts? Is it 7.4 volts being taken to the audio board(amplifier)?
No, he wired the batteries PARALLEL, which just adds to the amp hours while not affecting voltage. If he had wired the batteries in SERIES then yes, it would bring up the nominal voltage. (More amp hours with same voltage is how you get “more battery life”, just be very careful with handling batteries.)
Thanks for this video. I'm just wondering how to do a li ion battery pack with negative, positive and data cable as well. My Sony XB30 bluetooth speaker has 3 connectors on the battery port. What happens if I make the battery pack without that third port?
@@roycesgmailaccount5195 yes, if they are different in any manner such as nominal voltage, or capacity or voltage levels at the moment, it will be dangerous. All of these should match and also one more thing, never use old one with a new one. Your old one will die and leave a resistance in the circuit, not good.
Yea those capacities i see in them are ridiculous.. like that titan 50W with 5000mAh wft it plays for 1,5 hrs only on max level.. And he charge it sux from the battery.. Poor little bloated (probably) lipo
Justin 3 It's not dangerous, but if the batteries are not balance charged (to ensure both cells have the same voltage), then high currents could pass between the batteries as they try to have the same voltage each. This high current could cause an explosion.
i would, if i where you, just get a bigger battery, rather than taking two batteries in parallel, since you risk the batteris charging incorrectly. say one battery for some reason charges to 50%, and the other at 100%, the charger will turn off when one battery stops getting juice(in most cases, due to cheap charging circuit) instead, try typing in the dimensions of space you got, along with 3.7v battery in a search engine like google, and see what you can find.. not super hard to find batteries in all shapes and sizes. also, blowing on solder is a bad idea.. you should let it cool down on its own, makes a better solder joint.
Wrong. Wrong and wrong on the battery rubbish you wrote. Blowing on the solder is normally a bad idea, however it won't make the joint any worse than the absolute abortion of a connection that this idiot makes anyway.
Batteries expand and contract. Manufactures make their enclosures with tolerances to take care of this. This is also how the Samsung Note 7 Fire stuff started. They only had like .1-3 millimeters of tolerance while there should be a lot more. With your setup, while very nice, pose a real threat as batteries expand and contract constantly. I would suggest you to do something else... for your own safety and others'...
