Usually I let my molds do the work of forming my pots. That is part of the reason I built Shape Cast (shapecastmolds.com). However occasionally it is fun to alter the forms coming out of the mold. Here I think the sphere form lends itself to having the top hole enlarged and offset creating a unique planter.
