10:06 I'm thinking Username didnt realize you were hooked onto them. Without the experience of that sort of event to know the front car literally cant turn away, from the perspective of the back car it can feel like theyre just continually cutting across their front. I could easily be wrong, but im working on trying to find the more charitable presumption to situations like that.

yeah the car-to-car physics get really weird in wreckfest, it's almost like beam where two cars can get "crash welded" together. things are "sticky" once they make contact

Wreckfest 2 has been announced yeeeeears ago and development has ended on Wreckfest 1 yeeeeaaars ago. I think it will release at some point but the publisher is in bad weather so it may be delayed.

Could anyone explain to me the appeal of racing properly in Wreckfest? IMO there are so many better contenders. Genuine question.

the same reasons there's an appeal to racing properly in GTA V, diversity of cars, tracks, modding ability and because _you can_

@@kompassorpigo7600 he started wreckfest because he's already been playing it with regulars a long time before, and it was because he wanted to diversify his content not just play the mess of a game that is GTA Online. Wreckfest was the best alternative because you can do what he already does with clean racing but also more chaotic stuff. Plus most people have this game so it's very accessible for the community to take part Sure there's maybe other games for casual racing that he can do, like the F1 games or Assetto Corsa, but with "sims" like those he's already committed to iRacing so he doesn't have the time or interest to add _another_ simrace-esque game to his scheudle
