My late husband and I lived in a modular house for 12 years. We loved the low maintenance aspect of it. They do seem to hold their value better than other stick built alternatives.
That home going on that lot looks so beautiful see this was makes me want to move further to the South by me some land and put two homes on it looks peaceful
Beautiful home and land! But you may want to consider getting some of the pines that are closer to your farm out of there and plant Maples or something. The pines have a very shallow root system and are easily blown over in high winds. You certainly don’t want one or more to come down on your roof! I wish you all the happiness in your new home. It’s a beauty.
Thank you! Yes we have a few Japanese maples growing for future planting and this Winter we plan on knocking down more pine trees (after the sap going bask down).
Just subscribed & came across this video!😊 I live in southern NC too! Waitin for the next video to see how they got that mutha on the foundation! Where was your hubby at when this was taking place? That's a very HUGE & nice modular! 😄 I don't think I've seen one this BIG, at least not up close. Please don't keep us in too much suspense in waitin to see how they did it! Thanks for sharing in this 1st phase on your new home. ☺️
Me and my wife are working on our third and hopefully our last. And even had one house built. No matter what it just takes Patience's . Hopefully we will move in by Thanksgiving good luck too you and family. May God bless all!
You have so many beautiful plants and flowers. Really. Your property is going to be absolutely stunning. It seems that at least one of you (maybe both) enjoys gardening. Those plants provide pleasure from the physical activity of gardening, they increase property value, and the end result is truly a joy to behold. To my mind, that is money well spent! I hope you have continued success in your adventures!
These are factory-built homes, the same as stick built homes but only built out of the weather. Hauled to your land, crane lifted, and both parts are married together. This was a turn-key home package, priced per square foot.
@@adosbattle7105 how long is this home , when I saw the home being pulled off the road and saw the complete length I Said oh that's a Long one . I am in a single wide 16x80 and that's long but a single your's is a double and in this video just looks even longer. Love your property and your little garden's 💜
It’s a beautiful modular home just curious why would you plant the flowers first and they have to dig them up I would have waited until everything got on the foundation to see where I would like my plants but they are going to be beautiful
We started buying and preparing flowers over a year ago when we expected the house to be completed. My husband is not known for waiting. Yes, the plants have turned out wonderful... I'll be posting video about them soon
Sounds typical, housing dealer promises you everything then when they need to put those promises into action they are no where to be found and can't be contacted by phone just persona non grata
my friend bought a big home like that and after she moved in lord the cracks in the walls doors would not shut and the seller would not send nobody out so she moved in her camping trailer and told them to come get that big falling to pieces junk off her land.
@@adosbattle7105 NO problem with modular home purchase just buying land it's so much in surveying making such that its sewer and water etc. And who do you trust when it comes to land purchase if it's owner financing?
Some landscaping did suffer over the course of things but how else can I spend my time & keep an eye on things? Every time the contractors need to work on anything, I'm right there.
We always find it possible to reuse& recycle. We performed our own landscaping by using the built up pine straw from the woods for the mulch. We hauled free city mulch 48 miles w/ our small trailer. One use is to keep the foundation bricks clean.
Suspect that you are very familiar w/modular. Thought I would give one a try from a modular only builder. Yet, the stick builders in NC are too, delivering questionable construction. What is a customer to do at this point? We did choose a very good location in a development w/ option to join HOA, off water two lots, as you enter. Thanks #ADOS
