In this build I tackle another shop storage project where I resolve a time wasting issue of moving to multiple locations in the shop to complete one task. This modular nail gun storage cabinet locates all the nail guns, nails and tables in on spot so I can quickly see what gun I need and grab the appropriate nails while I am right there.

You have such good ideas. I have 8 nail guns and they are all over my shop this is a great way to store nails. I don't like the nails spilling out of the plastic wrappers all over my drawers. At least this will keep them in one place. Thanks for the idea

thats awesome you let your kids help. When mine were little I had HD kids workshop aprons for mine that were custom painted. I have showed my kids a few thinks with power tools as they got older.

Awesome storage idea Tyler. I haven't found the plans yet but will look in a minute. I want you to know those little ones don't belong to you anymore they belong to the whole woodworking community they have really grabbed my heart. I will just add them to my eleven grandchildren LOL.

Very nice shop project. Where do you buy you two smooth sided hardboard. The only thing I can find is the peg airs style hardboard without the holes. Real rough on the back and not 1/4" thick.

Nice project man. Looks very useful I have something similar and use it all the time. One thing, I would have thought you would of made a slot for your main nailer (the Ridgid battery nailer) instead of sitting it on top.

Nice project, I think adding drawer slides would make it MUCH easier to get to the nails in the rear of the drawers. Why not size it so your ridgid nailer would also fit?

+Pat M Cordless nailer is bigger and didn't want it sticking out into the shop that far. Plan on standing it up on top when I have it where I want it.

looks good ty! i think the pulls look ok..🖒 wood look sweetER if u paint the dividers black and is there enough room to hang the cordless gun on the side? just my 2 pennies.:]

Black would be sweet for the dividers! Would have loved to have the cordless gun in the cabinet but it's simply too deep and didn't want to make the cabinet that deep. Plan to stand it up on the top when I have the cabinet in it's final place.

Great video. I love these projects because I am planning on organizing tools in my new shop soon! Do you just drill into the cinder block everytime you need to mount something? I am planning on putting plywood over a large section of my block garage to mount tools to.

Nice! I drill into the block to hang the french cleats but that's it. Only a few holes here and there but I do plan on mounting a sheet of something for hanging smaller stuff.. Thanks for watching!

Would storing the guns like that (with the hose attachments down and receiving pressure) ok? Or will it cause harm to the gun?

I can't imagine how it would be harmful for the nail guns. With the air coupler pointed UP would be much worse as it would let dust settle in them.

I dunno if I would build it the same way if I was planning on keeping the hose attached, I would build it more like my drill storage if I wanted to do it that way. Thanks for watching man!
