Module 2 of our "Solving Public Policy Problems" course.
In this video, Francis Fukuyama introduces the World Health Partners-Sky case. The case follows the decision-making process of protagonist Smitha Shah, who is deciding whether to continue a public health project that aims to bring health services to rural areas in Bihar, India, through telemedicine based on social franchising. However, funders have doubts about its impact. Should the project be continued? More importantly, could this project have been better designed from the start? How could the policy-solving framework be applied to this case?
