Crazy I’m surprised about this video. I’ve been using my moft wallet for 2 years and have zero issues with it. It’s honestly my favorite accessory for my phone and most used lol. I use it paired with a spigen tough armor case. I did notice that depending on the case surface material, the wallet works best on not so slippery surfaces. The stitching has not come apart in 2 years, and I have no problems using one hand to open the stand.
I’m glad I bought my Moft wallet BEFORE your review came out. Otherwise, I may not have bought it. As it turns out, it does exactly what it’s advertised to do and it has become my favorite MagSafe accessory. I still love your reviews though.
I agree. My MOFT wallet is perfect and also my favourite accessory. The wallet does not fall off when I put it in my pocket and the magnet is great when I use the viewing aid. I use an iPhone 12 Pro with no problems.
I bought my Moft wallet when it first came out. It is my favorite and it is used everyday. I’ve changed a few MagSafe cases but I always use the Moft wallet. It’s great!
I have the MOFT wallet and as some others have said, it easily stays on my iPhone all day and didn’t fall off when putting in or pulling out of my pocket. It was easily better than Apple’s for me and none of the issues in this video represent my experience with MOFT’s wallet.
Eexactly. They just sound bitter. Comparing the “holding with your fingers inside the loop” feature to other products designed to do only that is biased. Aslo, moft never advertised this as a feature.
Good job I bought the MOFT wallet case before watching this video as otherwise maybe I wouldn't have bought it. Fact is the wallet is great, nothing wrong with the magnet strength and the stand function is great. Seems like most people disagree with your verdict checking out all the reviews the product has gained from buyers and the drop test? well that's just dumb, if you are going to drop your phone in most cases you are going to do so whilst you are standing and from waist height and from that level all of these wallet cases are going to come off! Oh and at 23€ it really is a no brainer. Seems like you guys have it in for MOFT!
They clearly had issues with theirs. It’s not surprising with cheap “Made in China” products. The biggest downside of this for me is no RFID protection.
I bought this one along with the MOFT tripod magsafe. This wallet is much thinner and lighter but it has 2 issues for me compared to the tripod version: the magnet strength and the stand firmness for a big phone like Pro Max
I didn’t think I would ever disagree with you two but I have to on this. I love my moft wallet. I use it with the apple leather case and I have had 0 issues with it coming off at all taking it in and out of my pockets. And I absolutely love using it as a stand.
I got mine just now. Also using it with the Apple leather case and I have to say it is sticking to the case quite well. Been trying to shake it off but it's just not budging. One complaint though is that when I do try to open it up as a stand, it does come off.

I've been using it for almost a year now and I love it. It is by far my favorite iPhone accessory. But I must admit I hardly use it as a wallet (I keep my ID in it so I always have it with me), but more for the stand function. No issues with not staying on either.
Agreed! I’ve never had a single issue. In fact, coupled with the MOFT snap case it’s almost too much grip. I did try it on my old overpriced Lifeproof case and the magnets on that case aren’t anywhere near as strong as the MOFT snapcase magnets. I barely use it as a wallet but use the stand constantly and love it. As a finger loop it works great to. Not sure why the angles bothered the reviewers. I mean, that seems like a bit of an over the top nitpick.
Yup. For whoever that is watching this channel, you have to watch it with the objective mind. I respect the reviewer to try to be "neutral" by buying the product instead of get paid to review; however, the "subjective" bias on this review I think is overboard. At one of their other videos, the same quality of all other mag-safe wallet being "easy" to fall out, they don't put the same bad sentiment. I suspect there was some "personal" subjective experience between them and moft that reflects on this review. And this is where as reviewer (similar to being journalist), you need to be able to be as objective as possible. The key with this wallet, just like any other mag-safe wallet is, it is better to use it with mag-safe case (so far I use both MOFT case and Apple original leather mag-safe case) and both are working really well. Is it completely safe that it won't fall off? maybe not. But on the normal usage situation, getting my phone in and out pocket or carrying my phone around in my hands, it won't fall of easily!! And if the author is not biased, the fact that it provides amazing stand feature on this wallet, is worth a lot for some of us. Not many mag-safe wallets provide that (including to my subjective opinion the useless Apple mag-safe wallet). And no, I am not getting paid to share my comment :) I am just one of the happy customer of MOFT.
I absolutely love the Moft wallet. Never falls off, never had an issue with putting in stand mode (I don’t open it like you did) and never comes off when I put in my jeans pocket, but then again I’m just a normal consumer and not trying to find fault with a product 😀
Full disclaimer, I'm a huge fan of the channel and love seeing different perspectives. As one of those 'paid influencers' to feature brands in my videos, I'm not here to protect their brand or my own, I just want to point out that their Stand & Wallet is not heavily marketed as a 'grip' compared to their adhesive version. Although there's a minor mention it's possible in the FAQ (just due to the fact that the stand forms a loop you can stick fingers into), they also recommend you use the adhesive version if you are looking for a grip. In regards to attaching the MagSafe charger, while I agree you wouldn't carry the MagSafe charger around with you, that would be completely taking that feature out of context. The purpose of it, which you visually show while you're saying that, is meant as a stand on your desk to prop up your phone in a stand mode while charging. I've got plenty of other thoughts about your other points but outside of all that, keep up the reviews, we need different perspectives from everyone to keep brands and creators in check!

I disagree completely- I like this wallet a lot, use it all the time. Sit and watch phone while having lunch, sits on my desk all day in stand. The magnet is super strong. I find it weird u hated so much ….
Guys this is just another opinion. Do your homework and buy what is good for you. This Product works perfectly on my iPhone 12 Pro. Nobody is purposely jerking their hands to make their iPhone fall off. My wallet holds 3-4 cards with bus tickets. I use the viewing aid all the time in bed and have never had the phone fall off. The stand is really great for when I’m in the kitchen using timers and whatnot, even the floating landscape function when watching videos. It is a $30 USD wallet at the end of the day so things like the stitching and quality of the wallet matches the pricing. I don’t usually disagree with this channel but on this particular product I am so happy I purchased it before watching. To be fair I do not use a case on my iPhone accept the wallet so mileage may vary depending on if you are using a case; however in my experience the magnet works great with just the iPhone. In any case thank you guy for your unbiased opinion I really do appreciate all the work you put into your videos. This is one of the few times I disagree but that’s ok. Keep up the good work, oh yeah Val please don’t change who you are just because of the sensitive people on here. Saw that in another review and wasn’t sure if they were aware but only halfway through the video. Want a stand/wallet which this seems to do the trick for and their negatives about it sliding off in a pocket don’t apply to me at least as I don’t currently rock skinny jeans
Hi guys, regular viewer here, will forever be grateful for introducing me to FLOLABS screen protectors, love those. Great review and candor. I actually use this Moft stand with an Apple leather case and it's been, as you noted, great in it's ideal use case which is as a stand in portrait mode while sitting at a desk. I use it as such for hours at work and it holds great. Not so great when I place the magsafe charger in-between, but it still stays up in portrait still and doesn't fall apart even when I stab at it with a stylus. I've never used it as finger loop, keep it folded when carrying it, and I only keep one or two contactless cards in the slot, so appreciate testing that out so that I know not to start. Keep up the good work.
After watching the video I am really thinking about getting the apple wallet just to see if the magnets are really that much better. I only have the MOFT Snap On but most of the things you say I cannot understand. I am very confused after watching this video it sound like you don’t line MOFT and just want to say something negative about them. Usually I don’t get this feeling with you videos… I think that a 30$ wallet should be a good quality product but comparing the stitching to apples wallet is wrong it’s double the price. If you have cards in the wallet you can open the stand way easier then without cards it is not coming of when you open the stand with cards in it. Is MOFT saying somewhere that you can use it as a loop? In the FAQ they say you can use it as a grip but don’t shake it it is not secure. As a wallet in my opinion it es better then apples wallet because you don’t have to use the window to pry out the cards. And I can put and also access some cash in it also. The stand Feature is very nice as far as I can tell. And it doesn’t come off when you put it in your Pocket. Unless you do it like all the reviewers (of MagSafe Wallets) do it by sticking the top part of the phone in the pocket and then pushing it in. I don’t think that anybody in real life does it this way. You grip the phone with your hand and put in so with a wallet you grip the wallet also. Did you guys really use it? Like put your cards in there and use for some days/weeks? I usually really like your videos but this one feels so off. We don’t like MOFT because they pay people and they told us how to review it. So we are gonna go negative into the review. That’s how I feel about the video.
I have apple wallet and moft To be honest I preffer the moft Im using it with apple leather case on my 12 pro max I agree the magnet could be better powered But for my use i still preffer the moft As i use it on my desk as a stand And also i only put 1 card in it
what i hate about moft is their edge, i have them on my macbook and iphone, the moft on macbook is good since it sits on the bottom of the mac. moft wallet is different thing, the edge is easy to be peeled off, and scratch my hand not like the edge of apple wallet (closed edge) - very smooth to hold by hand. the other thing is design, apple wallet is much more elegent, moft has so many lines on their back on the small area
Thanks for the review however I bought mine when it came out even though I have the Apple one too. I prefer using this mainly for the stand when out and about waiting for the wife to do the shopping and watching a video.
I’ve been carrying one for a few months and have few complaints. I have only actually used it as a wallet a handful of times but I love it for the kickstand abilities. It does come off in my pocket more than it should. I currently have it paired with a Spigen MagSafe rubber skin case and it binds well to that. I don’t recommend it on a non, MagSafe case at all.
You both sound really butt hurt about something that as nothing to do with the product. It’s a MagSafe wallet/stand. Magnet works fine with a MagSafe compatibility case. I’ve been using it for months now with no issue with the magnet. Why would I need 6 cards in a wallet? Just use a wallet smh My only issue is the viewing angle when using it with a pro max is undesirable at best. Other than that, it’s a good product for the price. You’re not sponsored and it hurts, it shows…
Been using MOFT for awhile . I disagree with some points , have both Apple MagSafe and MOFT , and I prefer MOFT over apple , not to mention Moft magnetic stick pads as a vehicle mount . Never have fallen off . Once again preference is personal and subject to individual use .
I've had mine for 2 months now and I really like it. On a naked phone I agree that it comes off easier than Apple, but I currently have Apple Leather Case and the Moft wallet stays on perfectly! No issues with it coming off when putting it in my pocket or anything like that.
Wait, that’s weird. Mine seems to has a stronger magnet? I’m not a reviewer or ‘Moft lover’ by any stretch but I’ve kept mine on the phone and attached to a car mount even, and it doesn’t comes off when driving.
Ps. The finger holding function suck bad they shouldn’t even advertise it for that, but I like it as a stand/card holder. edit: judging from the polarizing feedback, either MOFT has serious quality control or I'm just easily impressed.
Weird, did you get a defective one? I swear the one I got has a super strong magnet and rarely ever falls off. When it does, it takes a bit of force. I'm just an average consumer and I LOVE LOVE my Moft wallet.

I watched this review but still went ahead to buy one after reading the top comments. It's actually a great product and I don't seem to be having the same issues with magnet strength, but am using a case with a strong magnet. I like that it has a very slim profile and is less bulky than a folio case. I'm using the stand feature way more than I thought I would and I'm able to fit 3 cards and the card reader for my access gate at home can read the card through the wallet.... excellent!
Just to share my 2cents. I’ve tried the Apple wallet and the Moft (which I decided to stick with). The Moft is able to hold 4 cards comfortably whereas the Apple one was a tight squeeze even for 3. I also tried them both on an iPhone 12 and an iPhone 12 mini. I do agree with your review with the iPhone 12 (and it is probably worse on the 12 pro max). But it is perfect if you own a 12 mini, which I do now. I use the Moft on a daily basis now. It’s a perfect fit! (Disclaimer though, I do have my apple clear MagSafe case which probably makes the Moft+magnet hold even stronger 🤷🏻♂️) Keep up the reviews!

They must have changed something in the manufacturing because the one I've been using since it came out have no issue what so ever with the magnet. I would absolutely recommend this wallet to my friends.
I've been seeing very polarizing feedback about this wallet I personally had one as a gift, and had enjoyed using it (we can't fault the design, it's admittedly really good), but lost it cause it fell out - which I guess emphasized how weak the magnet was. Reading through other comments made me think if it was a matter of inconsistent quality of work and Aaron and Val just simply got the weak magnet one like I did

I don’t know what is wrong with your moft wallet but mine is fine and i love it. I have my moft wallet with 5 cards comfortably. I can easily put it on the stand mode with one hand. She has her nails done so I can see her having trouble. Overall way better than the Apple wallet because it has functionality and cost less. Magnets are good too. I don’t plan on dropping my phone and not noticing that it came off
Quick update here in Q4 2022 -- I received my Moft iPhone case and MagSafe wallet on 10/31/2022. I'm not sure whether they've improved their magnets altogether or if the Moft iPhone case significantly increases the strength; however, it is extremely well magnetized at this point. I did a quick drop test from my desk (~40") and the wallet did not budge. If your concern is the lack of magnetic strength, I am not seeing the issues demonstrated in this video. That said, many thanks for this thorough review :)
Y’all are tripping this is by far the best option on the market. The stand feature alone makes it a way more useful than any of the other options you tested. They also upgraded it shortly after you made this video and I have both the older and newest versions.
Almost everything you saying in this video is wrong. I have been using the wallet 3 months from now. Magnets are perfect not weak. Cards are super easy to reach. If you use your brain you can actually understand how this folding works. This review is fake.
I really don’t understand why an entire video needed to be made bashing this product. I’ve been using the Moft wallet stand with my iPhone 14 pro and I absolutely love it. To be fair, I mostly use it for the stand feature and seldomly use it as a wallet, but I do keep it attached to my phone at all times and the strength of the magnet has never been an issue for me. Especially with a good MagSafe case, the Moft stand does not move unless I want it too. Your reviews are awesome and incredibly thorough, I’ve watched a lot and they have all been useful! But this one stands out from the rest as a dig on a product that I find to be exactly what I wanted and do not think is useless in any way
I have moft wallet for my iPhone 12 pro and it works great! Magnets are not weak as shown. It is even better then Apple wallet. I think you have a faulty one or first batch. I use it with 4 cards and the stitching is still fine.
I keep mine in a separate pocket and only get it out when I need it as a stand, or when I need cards. It's like a regular wallet with a phone stand included
I’ve had my moft wallet for over a year and have used it everyday and it is still in excellent condition and arguably the best MagSafe wallet out there. Unfortunately have to disagree with the review entirely but glad to hear your honesty and perspective.
FIY, I can use one hand to open the MOFT as a stand by pulling the top part then the middle. I wish the magnet is stronger but it works well with my Casekoo case. I have never drop the wallet yet. I would like to MOFT with real leather and flush to the phone in the future
Is there a chance you guys got a bad product? I've had the Moft wallet for a few months now paired with my Apple clear magsafe case and it's held on tight the whole time. Using the stand on my desk, using the finger loop to hold in the bed at night, as well as going in and out of my pockets. It's got a solid hold for me. Thanks for the honest review though.

It's either that or they got a defective product or I guess they just wanted to give a partially bad review for this product. 😂. Many of the comments say it holds up well. I don't own the magsafe one but the adhesive one from the past 5 months and it still holds up well. No stiches come off nothing broken. All good. Such RU-vidrs reviewing a product will portray a bad image about the product and the comp.
Interesting. I bought mine without even seeing a review first, and I love it. The magnet on mine is way stronger than the weak Apple wallet one, and it holds more cards. That alone is worth it to me, but on top of that, it has the folding stand ability, which makes it a no brainer. It’s straight up the best slim magsafe wallet right now at least.
I appreciate the theme of the channel being to buy everything yourselves so you don’t feel like you have to make some company happy, but I personally found the beginning of this vid a bit... smug? Preachy? I mean-you do you, but maybe it would be best not to spend 2 full minutes smugly telling us how badly the brand wanted you to review it and just... review the product. Come up with a quick intro, introducing yourselves and saying something like, “unlike some other tech review channels, we never accept free products or payment from the companies whose products we review” and leave it at that. Shows your value, straight to the point.
Ive had mine for a few months now. I have been using it with the Phone rebel series case and it actually stays on stronger than it being naked or with any other case i have used. I have had no problems using it with this case loving mine. I do agree with the stitching it is showing some loose threads and the top part of the part that attaches to the case is no longer flat but has some waves. Thanks for sharing your review!

just brought mine after watching this. The issue that it coming off easily is true, if you shake the phone violently while holding the grip, but if you just holding it upside down it doesn’t come off and i guess that’s what people do?so it works fine on daily life another issue is that you can’t open the grip in one hand is true because it’s magnet so it’s hard to open using one finger. i would still recommend this cause the design and color is pretty, if you not throwing your phone all over then it’s fine, it’s slim, compact, and perfect for watching some movies/series and i just can’t find the card holder with a grip that look better than the moft one

I’ve had my Moft for about 4 months and it’s been…fine? It’s a minimal wallet that sticks to your phone and acts as a stand. It sticks better than you guys are letting on. It could be better, no doubt, but it doesn’t fall off like you are saying.

Really feel like you've missed the point of this case. In fact watching this made me want it more as it perfectly suits my needs. I only want to carry 1 maybe 2 cards and primarily I want a stand for on trains, planes etc. I also like the MagSafe sandwich for this reason as if I'm watching a film, I want my phone on charge. Also, I could be wrong, but I don't actually think Moft advertise it as a finger loop type viewing aid mount (just checked and they actually in so many words say on the product page that it might kinda work, but its not designed for this). It seems designed for people like me who want a mount and are constantly forgetting their ID. Holding the phone up by the back of the case like you do repeatedly in this video isn't at all representative of a real world scenario or intended use case of the product. If it was falling off whilst it was in the landscape/mount mode then yeah sure, it sucks. But it doesn't.
That's super weird yours comes off like that. I dropped my iPhone from just above 1 meter and the wallet still didn't come off. I can hold the loop and shake it and it stays on. Im using the iPhone14 Pro max. Maybe they changed the magnets?
I bought one last month and the magnet is pretty strong though, never come off on it's own. And I definitely can't move it with one finger like Val did. Been using it with Rhinoshield bumper and never look back lol. Appreciate the review though!

i see moft released new wallet that’s compatible with the new iphone 13 Pro, a slightly smaller size and in new matching color (windy blue and classic nude). they claim that it has 2x Stronger Magnetic Connection. can you review it?
It’s great multifunction card keeper but it’s the exact same from previous iterations but they didn’t change much besides MagSafe The older variants with adhesive is better to keep it as a wallet but if you want a removable stand than it works well

Drinking roundup? That was a terrible coincidence of a bad mix of words. Round-up is the most commonly used herbicide used across the world that contains glyphosate as the active ingredient. As for drinking roundup, it can be fatal. STAY AWAY from drinking roundup.
Gotta say I respectfully disagree, just swapped out my apple wallet for the moft and I have to say I like it a lot better. I will say the apple wallet stays on better, but it’s so minuscule that I can only notice it if I take them off one after the other. Also, I’m not sure what it is, but the apple wallets destroy themselves like crazy! Like within a week they are plagued with discoloration, not flattering patina unfortunately. I have other moft products and they stand the test of time for sure, I don’t mind the fake leather, it’s a fair trade off🤷♂️ A lot of the points you made are accurate in my opinion, but the trade offs are worth it to me. I don't know what happened to your Moft-wallet or your iPhone, but i highly recommend to try and test a second one. I am using such a Moft-wallet on my Google Pixel 8 Pro with several cases and the magnetic force is great on ALL of them. It is way better than an apple-wallet on an iPhone.

My MOFT wallet works just fine. This seems more like user error because that’s not how it’s designed to be opened. Additionally, I am able to fit more than 3 cards in it.

i used the Moft and thought it was okay but definitely very very weak magnet. recently i got a popsocket popwallet+ and it can do practically everything the moft does but actually magnetised strongly to the phone! can do a lamborghini laid-back portrait stand mode if you fold just half of the popsocket down
I legit bought this wallet the day you had mentioned NOT to buy it in another video. I received it in the mail, and 100% agree, its awful... I went with the Spigen Smart Fold which I've liked so far. Although on Tuesday I had it come off in the parking lot. Luckily I always take it off when I get in the car so I can put my phone up on my Magsafe mount so I immediately noticed it.
