This song has helped me cry, helped me smile, help me to feel inspired, helped me to relax, and helped me in countless other ways countless times. I'm glad I have this song and this band in my life. Thank you world for such beautiful examples of creativity.
This sang has stayed with me for years. It really is one of the prettiest songs I’ve ever heard. Even without lyrics, it has such depth and connotation.
Listened to this on repeat for nearly a week after my cat passed. Picked her up when she was 5 weeks and I was 11 years old, passed on fathers day when I was 36. Celebration of life in the darkest of mournings
I totally get it mate, mine is 16 years old and I know that one day or another he’ll leave as well. That will be very harsh as he’s a member of my family and we love him more than anything. Hope you’re better now.
That sounds exactly like something I would do. Mogwai's music always has a heavy weightiness to it that I find a bit overwhelming and sad. I do love their music
Remember seeing this video on MTV early in the morning before school. The first time I had ever heard of this band, and how strangely beautiful that moment was, as far as the video and music. One of the best pieces I've ever heard.
Such a beautiful song. So many years have passed and still I return to this song. I've read some of the comments: so many ways this piece of music has left an impact. To some it's sad; but for me it has always been blissful: I always return to that walk through the local forest on the way home from a party. Fifteen years ago, winter night, moon high.
@@ΓιώργοςΑβραμόπουλος-ρ2γ hi there. 3 years late, im still depressed and feeling bad. This song still means everything. That makes me smile a bit. Hope u are fine too.
This music tells you we are not more important than anyone or anything else ever, that we are stardust, we are golden and we’ve got to get back to the garden...and to love is all that matters forever and ever
I Remember this song from Mogwai concert in Dublin, back in 2008 or 2009. I knew only couple Mogwai songs those days: Friends of the night and Autorock. I've been big fan since then.
No hay video y cancion q supere esta obra! Gracias x facilitarlo y lo mejor a esta gran banda que me hace compania en mis soledades y vuelos de alma libertaria
"There are more words for war than for peace. Carnage, Mayhem, Chaos. I ate them all in their gluttony. I pissed them off the edge of the Earth and then rounded it to seal them out. What beautiful expressions did they forshadow?",dan'
+Sajid Sheik Theyre not my favorite either. I prefer Explosions in the Sky, God is an Astronaut and Godspeed You! Black Emperor...but I do really like the piano in this song.
Sajid Sheik Yes! Those guys are great. Theres also a really cool band called Beast, Please Be Still. I found them about a year or two ago here. Was just a random RU-vid find one day. Check em out. Theyre Awesome.
sul mio canale trovi una sezione che ho proprio intitolato flux! dentro contiene maggior parte dei video che venivano trasmessi su quel fantastico canale! nel caso te ne ricordi altri che mancano nella mia lista mi faresti un grande favore!!! :D
it is unnconventionel differfent not main stream yea yea love it cant bellive how rellaxing this is hellps me concentrate on work at home greatt ambience
¡Muy bien! Juwel: Ahora por favor completa la siguiente frase: (cuando lo hayas hecho la envías al correo pues definitivamente...) "A veces entre más gente te rodea..."
I don't understand the atonal electronic sounds in the background. I've tried two uploaded videos, and two sets of headphones, and it is still there. Is that is something that Mogwai deliberately added to the track?? It kicks in at the sections starting at 01:07, I find it diminishes the impact of what would otherwise be something quite excellent
+Guillberto I've thought about that a lot actually. When I saw them live, the static(as I like to call it) you hear really prevails at the end and almost drowns out everything else. I started laughing at how loud it actually was. It was quite an experience. I've seen mogwai laugh during that part as well...so yeah, it's intentional...and probably meant for their live performance more than anything else. That's why I am guessing. Mogwai seem to throw in a lot of humorous stuff actually.
