@@wetheroyals1there are many players who find it difficult to play in pitches in SA and Aus. It is always good to have one or two players on the team to be good in those situations as this allows the other players to also bring their A game. For India, especially in those conditions, would definitely require those skills to help in winning. So for a team to have a bowler who is consistent in bowling well in such conditions, you can never say that he is a mid player...
Check his records...he has done wonders in the last few years...but don't know why he is such an under rated bowler...i think he is one of the great bowlers India ever produced...
His bowling trajectory is similar to South Africa's Vernon Philander. But he has extra pace and agression in his bowling. Philander was a world class bowler. Shami goes for a few runs because he makes the batsman play every ball, which always makes way for lbw and being bowled out. Shami is really underrated.
Dhawan and Shami! Both are simple and kind hearted persons. You can see how both of them have smiley face while talking to anyone. That's the reason they became easy target for those two gold diggers.

With such body shape & height which are not suitable for a fast bowler, he has been a consistent performer for decade & his speed & accuracy are increasing day by day even though fighting with injuries quite often. Salute to Mohammad Shami from Bangladesh 🇧🇩❤️
