NFL Training Sessions #006 (3.14.19)
👇👇👇
This is a workout featuring Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Mohamed Sanu.
Mo and I learned WR play from the same system at Rutgers. During this workout, he shares all of the changes he's made to his game since leaving college.
****
Drew Lieberman - founder/CEO of the Sideline Hustle & former Wide Receivers coach at Rutgers, UAlbany, Wesleyan & Don Bosco Prep is running the workout and provides the narration you'll hear in the video.
****
The Sideline Hustle training sessions vlogs will condense a 2 hour workout into a 15-20 minute video.
Coach Liebs will narrate over the workout footage to provide coaching points, advice & tips.

This was eye opening. I haven't played football since I was younger and at 20 yrs old I was offered to come train with an academy school in Jersey just off my natural talent. Its videos like these that will help me develop good habits quickly. If you see this man I'd love to get a session in to see watch you can teach me in an hour and if Im as good as I was told

For the tennis ball drill, it is possible to DIY, all you need is a wall to bounce the tennis balls off of, and you only use 3 balls at a time. You throw with one hand and catch with the other, and cycle between hands.

Sanu doesn’t understand Julio’s inside foot turn? Dig your toes into the ground as your foot starts to plant, also at the same time turn your knee and ankle towards the inside.. it’s smooth and fast.

At various points in route running, you not only need to cut out extra steps but also extra head and flailing arm movements as they become indicators for changing direction. Hitch/stop route; get depth and snap off the route. Maintain initial body level. Raising up and/or dropping down is another indicator.

Tight 3 step areas require a QB to quarter an area of throw.not necessarily a pass that can be caught unless anticipated.

I run my hitches and curls the same as him but, but sometimes when I’m going full speed I might have to go inside because I slip sometimes Edit: On In’s I use a violent step with my outside if the DB is trailing man to man but if he’s off coverage I break then go so its not obvious

Yo so the trigger step is either Just Trigger step, break for under 10 yds Or Trigger step, break, line for over 10??
@SidelineHustle
@SidelineHustle 5 лет назад
You can use false accelerate - "snap, 12" to get out in 3 steps in anything under 15 yards. Tight break - drop in the direction you want to go then 3 choppy steps to get out in 4 on anything deeper than 15 yards. "drop 123" I have more videos on both that you can look up also
@swastikgrover3414

So for more than 15 yds use 4 step break down but for less than 15yds use a 3 step break down right?
