Don't treat this as a song, that goes against Islam completely. The call to prayer is not music to enjoy because prayer is not meant to be fun. It's a serious time dedicated to our Lord. It is not required, but the reason we call the prayer this way is to assert different tones throughout the day. Morning adhan sounds different than the mid day or night adhans.
